well what is there to say...? the two original packages of this is not a follow up are being played by everyone under the sun. both the previous gourmet and the brique rouge releases pack a serious punch with remixes from main room heavy weights like mason, silicone soul and tommy four seven. it came to our attention by one mr. clive henry that it would be nice to have some deep remixes released.

anil chawla is relatively a newcomer on the uk scene, having emerged in 2004 as dj to watch, he already released productions on such labels as global underground, saved, cubism, or berwick. anil has been sending me his work for quite some months now and everytime there was a track to play. so its naturally that we started talking about a possible release on kill brique. anils music got the necessary energy to move any dancefloor, he knows the game, and he knows how to shake your ass. this ep is here to prove that : >together< is an acid monster (reminds me, oh surprise, some of the hardfloor stuff) that builds into a very nice breakdown

tommy four seven is a young successful and prolific producer : not only has he had tracks signed to labels like brique rouge, catwash records, io music, love minus zero and jm recordings, but he has also remixed artists such as mike monday, fex, tom pooks and mark o sullivan. being a permanent member of the br mob, hes the future of the label. mark o sullivan is half of dk7 with jesper dahlbäck and member of the mighty quark. hes currently leaving in sweden where hes listening to too much electro-house. but mark is a clever producer. together they teamed up to offer kill brique an absolute monster ep for the dancefloor. joining in is tag-team of.

so here we are, 2006 and gourmet is about to put out release number 33! after spending lots of energy putting out the barcode trilogy we thought it best to get back to doing something a bit more manageable. the first idea was to go on permanent vacation as were lazy by nature, but instead we decided to start a new remix series inventively called redux.
