down by the lake is happy to present saile, a young musician who was born and raised in berlin. what instantly caught us was the timelessness of every single element within the sound of saile. though being at young age his hardware-only tracks are sweating of love for the golden era of us house music. map.ache (kann/ giegling) takes in the end to another hypnotic level, his version is a proper workout, to be heard on the trippy dancefloors across the world soon! drawings & typography by stefan marx.

dj haus (the hardest working man in show business!) teams up with mak & pasteman for our landmark quarter century release!!! how the hell did that happen? we only expected to manage about 4 releases tops? we are really proud to welcome these guys to the ever expanding dabj family, and they have not let us down with this first release... the title track and -bang it- are room shaking heavy bass numbers, which we have been rinsing for almost a year now... drive mf sounds like paul johnson and daniel bell -stuck in an elevator- (or some other bullshit analogy like that...). all 3 tracks = essential. period. -buy on sight- etc etc... carefully hand stamped by the two slackest men in show business (or at least one of them anyway...)

repress 2016 , the new artist ep of map.ache goes by the name leave and keep. luckily he is not going to leave the label, but turns in three new tracks, where he is stressing the fine line between dancefloor and good listening. his indescision remains our pleasure

leaving paradise.

here comes the heavy remix package to lake peoples much praised debut album purposely uncertain field. with redshape, lawrence and map.ache three remixes were carefully chosen who would be able to bring their own distinctive sound to the table, but also treat the original tracks respectfully. redshape catapults -illuminated- into the orbit of the red planet, where it rotates in a trippy and hypnotic way. lawrence is drifting red but stays closer to the sun. the dial boss keeps things lighter and brings some bells and a steady bass drum to dinner and knows how to mesmerise. leipzig buddy and kann records co-founder map.ache shifts up a gear with his remix for cooping. twisted vocals and a bouncy bassline make his remix a darling on the club floor and rounds things consistently up.

as the music is research, pisetzky loves to get deep into bass lines of different sound dimension. his style is always powerful and melancholic, moving hearts and minds into multi layered soundscapes. he started producing in 2010 with the name fabiano valli as sound designer for fashion brands. since late 2013 he turned his profile into pisetzky, inspired by a growing milans techno scene, he started to realise his attitude into being active part of the project just - this. he already proved his musical research for the biggest europe festivals stages ( off sonar week, ade, amore, barrakud ), as in the finest clubs and parties. in the darkness of his studio or even on the hottest dancefloors, pisetzky shakes deeply souls and bodies with his dogged rhythms.

fuer >where we need no map< traegt otto das fello erstmals ins hamburger studio und nimmt unzaehlige sessions auf, in denen die gesten des bogens direkt den verstaerkten sound des cellos veraendern und neu formen. diese fello-sitzungen werden anschließend editiert und mit anderen einfluessen vermengt, die von skweee ueber house bis hin zum jazz reichen. der markenzeichen-sound von springintgut, diese ureigene verspieltheit, ist weiterhin vorhanden, gewinnt durch das live-prozessierte cello aber eine bisher unerreichte tiefe.
