the new leena welcomes an artist who rise through the ranks of the dj elite has been swift, purposeful and striking. starting out as a promoter and label manager, nicole moudaber booked huge acts for her soundworx nights at londons legendary turnmills club alongside running southeast recordings, but it wasnt long before she started to produce herself. flawlessly carving out her very own edgy house and tough, soulful techno sound, her music was instantly picked up by the worlds leading tastemakers including carl cox, john digweed and pete tong. a residency in ibiza playing alongside carl cox at his weekly night followed, as well as requests for guest mixes on both his and john digweeds internationally syndicated radio shows. her releases have received just as much praise as her dj performances.

the new leena welcomes a very new guest to the mobilee family - belgian born jona - who having been discovered by get physical in 2005 has since had a series of strong releases on labels such as supplement facts, planet e and resopal. a born musician, jona originally studied the guitar and was heavily influenced by blues and jazz music, until he fell in love with electronic music and graduated from the school of audio engineering. his wealth of musical training has supported his desire to continually explore new sound perspectives and forge is own and unique sound signature, something not so common in the electronic music world of today. >this time< is a three track strong ep that takes brings together a variety of musical themes. whilst >drifting away< and title track >this time< both have grooving bass lines perfect to shake up the dance floor, >resonate< has layers of drifting synths creating more of a dreamy summers day atmosphere. a debut release from an artist we hope to be seeing a lot more of in the future….enjoy

always leena is the fertile breeding ground for inspiring artists that are new to the label and have caught the attention of mobilee’s label heads. this brand new release from smash tv is a perfect example of this vision in practice, as whilst the duo behind the name - holger zilske and kai preussner - have been in the game for quite some time, this is their first release on leena and it’s unsurprising that their high energy production and musical flair has been spotted and admired by the mobilee team. with releases in the past on labels such bpitch control, diynamic and get physical, now they are here to present ‘world wide wet’! all three tracks in the release come with the producers’ high energy dance-floor trademark, whilst in spite of it’s suggestive title ‘eating bullets’ takes it a bit deeper and gives you some space to kick back to. ‘world wide wet’ is a very welcome guest to leena, bringing more variety and spice to the imprints history so far…… enjoy

born in chile but raised in sweden, alexi delano, with fellow swedes like cari lekebusch, adam beyer, jesper dahlback, joel mull and others, became part of some of the first wave of swedish electronic music producers that made a name for themselves in the mid 90s, releasing on techno labels such as plus8, missile, primate, hybrid, svek and many more. his style dwells in the perfect balance between shiny minimalism and dark vivasious techno, which is exactly what you can expect from his brand new ep for leena >un do me<. as a long term friend of mobilee, and also an artist who’s productions fit well with many of our artists dj styles and tastes, its a great pleasure to finally release one of his productions on leena. both tracks on the ep >un do me< and >watch out< come with a powerful punch and high energy. with more than two decades on the stage, hes an artist that is certainly showing no intentions of slowing down. we hope you enjoy this!

many people know antoine garcin for the two very successful labels he runs, time has changed and time is now, but you would be wrong in thinking these was the only arrows to his bow. in fact he has many and being a talented producer is one of them, as richie hawtin recognised when he praised him as the best breakthrough producer of 2009!
