stanislav sevostyanikhin returns under his kontext guise with four tracks of tightest dubtech minimalism on immerse. these are his first konext productions since the impressive >dissociate< album, continuing a trajectory into widescreen dub techno and clipped, post-dubstep rhythm programming. >no more room in hell< combines the luscious atmospheres of pendle coven or bvdub with subtle glitching rhythms, while >daphnia pulex< adds glassy electronic melodies and padded subs to the equation. most interesting of all is >sattva<, rolling raga drones into his morphing dub chords and crafty future garage stabs, kinda like pole meets farben on a dusky autumnal evening. if you ever wanted a more reduced ramadanman, or a glitchier appleblim, this is well worth checking...

first release for this new italian label, who claim to bring techno back to its top level. we re inclined to agree with those sentiments, as are the others who have received promos of the release. the a side consists of two deep and dark techno tracks, that should also find favour with more minimal djs. they are apparently by a popular northern european artist, going under the guise of ????. the label has kept such a secret that we dont even know who it is. on the b side, we have a soz adams (esperanza, archipel, gumption) remix of label head obtane and fris, which is a retro chicago style excursion, and german duo sebastian herre and obscure close the ep with a more detroit techno inspired track.

maybe you remenber of first release by delete on safari (saf015). this ep has his first hit for him... ever repressed more 2 times...it was one of the powerful release on sf. now they back with more experience and for this new ep... hes loking for a hypnotic minimal bliss. >what are you laughin< .its more housey minimal dubby sound like chilian boys can play in long set. you must check this track... its really interesting ! what are another different way but sill in the groove
