und es geht weiter - nach dem geglueckten labelstart von ritter butzke studio sind wir nun bereit für die naechste runde. das zweite release kommt ebenfalls von einem resident des hauses, naemlich patryk molinari, dessen >addicted to the vibe ep< schon ueber ihren namen deutlich macht wohin die musikalische reise gehen wird. die a-seite >addicted< ist ein 80s angehauchter track ohne dabei wie ein abklatsch aus alten zeiten zu wirken. getragen wird der song durch ein massives bass-fundament wozu sich dann im spaeteren verlauf noch wohlige pads und eingaengige weibliche vocals gesellen, welche den tracktitel besingen - >im so addicted!< die b-seite bietet dann mit >neon vibe< einen schoenen kontrast dazu. hier hat patryk wesentlich fokussierter auf den groove gearbeitet ohne dabei in die belanglosigkeit abzudriften. fuer die noetige spannung sorgen die tiefen maennliche vocoder-vocals, gutdurchdachte chord-rhythmen und natuerlich das punktgenaue drumming, welches sofort zum mitgrooven animiert. zu diesem track haben dann noch kotelett & zadak einen remix beigesteuert, der sich natürlich am original orientiert, ihm aber zugleich einen ganz anderen charakter verleiht. die beiden haben das thema deutlich percussiver aufgegriffen und den groove dann zusaetzlich mit einer sehr praegnanten bassline untermalt. das abwechslungsreiche arrangement und diverse effektspielereinen sorgen dafuer, dass mit sicherheit keine langeweile beim hoerer aufkommen wird. alles in allem ein sehr rundes release, wie wir finden, und daher hoffen wir dass es auch bei euch wieder auf anklang stoßen wird!

hello berlin is the second release of samuel fach on tonkind. with his first one he made already a successful debut start. and for sure hello berlin should not stay behind. like the titel tells us, it is a tribute to his new home town. since last summer he is now a child of this wonderful city and this release suppose to be his first musical reflection to what he experienced there, so far. like on the first release, samuel fach shows his talent for a multicolored and very origin sound. all emotions have been bunched here, esspecialy in firts of may we got an essence of his affinity for happy melancholy. on the top... with a very cool kotelett & zadak remix of hello berlin, he got the right support from berlins men on the spot.

spreekader aufnahmen is a new berlin based label. originally coming from tech house and minimal techno we are also releasing any kind of music we think it is worth hearing so that the essence of spreekader aufnahmen is good music. no matter if it is house, ambient, or any other kind of thrilling sound. we are obsessed with good music and therefore we are hopeless victims of sound. spreekader aufnahmen proudly presents to you >tamtam<. >tamtam< is going to be our first release on spreekader aufnahmen. the release features artists such as schulleri & eiblonski, benno blome, kotelett & zadak and last but not least nico stojan. the original mix brought to you by schulleri & eiblonski (labelowner of spreekader aufnahmen) is what you would call a prime-time happy-go-lucky hit at its best. talking about the remixers, benno blome (sender records) added a fast forward piano that way >tamtam< the track even goes happy-go-funky. kotelett & zadak (golden gate) took their time and made it nice and deep, perfect for every afterhour. finally nico stojan (bar 25) added piano and vocal to his version of >tamtam< and made smooth and sweet.

golden gate... yes we love! this is the first 12 inch out of two, representing the golden gate club compilation. after all this wonderful years of sweat, heat and highlight in this unique club, some producers and djs are contributing their tracks, showing gratitude and love for this special place.

zum fünfjährigen bestehen veröffentlicht tonkind nach langer zeit mal wieder eine vinyl ep. zur feier sind es auch gleich vier interpreten die sich hier der party schenken. unter anderem die turmspringer, die sich zum jubiläum ihres labels mit einer frischen jazzig-treibenden-minimal track präsentieren. in „coqauvin“ fliegen nach aller turmspringer manier die fetzen, das selbst dem gockel die luft weg bleibt. ihren einstand als produzenten team feiert mit „vuja“ herr süüs & her sauer, die seit jahren schon als djs die berliner underground szene aufmischen und mit beherschen. auf der b-seite hören wir dann kotelett & zadak mit capriccio, welches so kühl und nüchtern daher kommt. hier wird einmal mehr minimal gegrooved und mit einer homöopathischen dosis an sounds die besten gefühle vermittelt. breger, der einzige „nicht-berliner“ auf dieser ep und beatplantation apostel aus dem ruhrpot schließt die ep mit „grain ball“ ab und zeigt, wo lang und wie schell der hase laufen kann. dubig, frisch und percusiv rollte er das feld von hinten auf. im ganzen eine sehr bunte und lebendige ep, die aus allen richtungen den wind blasen lässt. mögen die, die darauf tanzen sich keinen zug holen.

da ist sie, die dritte home sweet home compilation! wie in jedem jahr finden sich hierauf erlesene tracks aus dem greifbaren upon-you-labelumfeld, gemacht von künstlern, die auch auf der traditionellen home-sweet-home-neujahrssause in der berliner arena auflegen oder live spielen. wie gewohnt besteht das release aus zwei teilen und gehört für uns zu den schönen devotionalien unserer labelgeschichte: miko von channel x und empro schieben stolz ihr gemeinsames techno- nümmerchen auf a1. die b2 liege hat sich unser talentierter uy - neuzugang echonomist aus griechenland gesichert, der sich hier zuverlässig von seiner sonnenseite zeigt. besonders freut uns auch, dass uns unsere polnischen kollegen von catz n dogz ein reizendes b1 housegeschenk unter der tür durchgeschoben haben und dass durch die berliner handwerkerhände von zadak & kotelett ein ebenso meisterliches a2-tanzbrett für uns entstanden ist
