samuel l session is known for his percussive and driving sound, something he has honed over the last 16 years. the >you are< ep holds onto those values and gives a gentle nod to his detroit luminaries as he combines his trademark gated snare rolls and percussion with soaring strings and a gallant bassline. samuel l session s return to klap klap is a poignant one, a weighted ep that oozes soul, character and groove.

after a year claudio mate is back on klap klap! and during this year he has worked on his profile, making it stronger and more known around the world. his lush but driving and emotional detroit inspired techno has really been gaining strength within the circuits of those who know. this record will not make his reputation weaker for sure. we believe it will make some heads nodding in the right direction. let the music speak for itself!

this massive track has now been remixed by steve rachmad and martin h! and what a package it is! it has been worth the wait for sure. no doubt. the way these two have tweaked and changed this anthem is really interesting. what came out of it in the end is more or less two new songs. two different forms. two new interpretations to absorb. wicked!.

itamar sagi from the be as one label really made a name for himself with his black gold track that was released earlier this year. inspired by the warmer and more emotional side of detroit techno he very much captured something real and true in that song which certaintly paid off in the end. here he has done something a bit different. not less good though. actually better. this is a record for those moments when you need to increase the pace but still wants to keep the soul. perfect!

for this seventh release samuel let someone else bring the music, and it s actually the first time since he started klap klap for a bit more then two years ago. claudio mate has really delivered something special here, and you can hear in the title what he s going for. it s classic detroit techno made for 2008. warm and rich melodies combined with funky and driving percussion. it comes in three versions that are connected but still has their own stories. should appeal to all those who appreciates things that is made with lust and passion

what a killer dub techno track!! two parts, and i don t know which is better.. must have for fans of desolat, mountain people & maurizio

the raw power of this fifth instalment is nothing but delicious! samuel is back with another techhouse record that will for sure be a real wallshaker. just listen to the energy and madness elbee bad provided with his vocals. its insane people! in a good way of course, if there ever was another way. enough said

the music on this third release sounds a bit like a mixture of ame , derrick carter, lil louis, carl craig and basic channel. which is a good thing. we would like to think that this is the most loveable number so far. by miles! fonky, groovy, dark and deep techhouse that is just begging to be played at the right moment. paris the black fu from detroit grand pubahs has provided the vocals. and he actually has a message. can you relate?

after the success of the first klap klap release >easy walker<, samuel here continues with another really solid record !!! the a-side comes with a rich atmpspheric tune to space away, it steadily grows and tweaks into a abstract hymn. on the b-side we find >inside< which, in its original version, was supposed to be released on new soil recently !!
