keeping with tradition, the second italojohnson release of 2012 once again presents itself in the likeliness of a 12inch wax with three tracks. the one-track mind repeats the same funk-nationalistic character of italojohnson and once more shows its simplicity. this tune comes to its rite where it is loud and dirty but even headz sitting at home will be able to feel the sun rise. boom shakalaka. the double-track side has some surprises in store for its listeners. for those in the know, the first track is also known as >bootytrack<. this track always pushes the low end to the limit and under the right circumstances guarantees some hip swing. number two may sound familiar, but even if you dont know its rootz, youll still be down with each other

as the summer comes to a close, italojohnson releases its fourth release thereby urging party people to get in the dancing swing once again. on the long recorded side, you will find a progressive house track that can be hardly surpassed in any type in its directness. an unfussy arrangement, a straight oppressive subject and a low flying breakdown compose the a-stamped side. the sincerity of the first track of the flipside doesnt come short of any expectations. the concrete in-your-face-drumming, piano lessons and stabbing strings combined with the italojohnson charm becomes the (double a) aa-side. why? because italojohnson doesnt do b-sides. finally, the aa-2 track emotionally rounds up the release with italojohnsons trademark-sound in which all the brothers and sisters are invited to explore. make love!

italojohnson starts the new year punctual with his third stroke. this record will have something suitable on it for everyone out there. without batting an eyelid, its crosseyed and selfconfident, looking at three different floors at the same time: the a-side focuses on the chicago house floor. it begins with a recognizable toolish sound. slowely but surely the theme of the track opens – the track works through a breakdown, a classic drum roll sneaks in and jack grabs again. the b1 provides an unusual turn on the third italojohnson production. theres no space for compromises here. the track stomps on the steam engine warehouse floor. a flowing acid hookline is settled in the industrial drumline and gives the track its meaning. the second track on the flipside completes the whole package and is destined for the late night hours. thats everything there is to say about this track – the strength and emotion can only be experienced by listening first hand. love, peace and happiness

the a-sides systematic drumming maliciously rumbles through the prime time floor as the mellow waves begin to take form and surge into a hysterical tsunami of beats. an emotional sunrise paves the tracks finale.
a similar functional sound continues on b1 and soon after, exposes itself as a percussive chicago house track as the 707, 727 and abyssal bassline protest against loungy house.
the dubbier interpretation of the italojohnson concept can be found in the final track on b2. the 808-thunderstorms and melancholic pads have lived through more than one summer, yet have only triumphed through charm and optimism.
