for our hike 006 we’ve got cyrk for you. meanwhile the boys are root artists on hike and we are very proud to present their upcoming release. this time we present you a hiking path around pforzheim, a city known for its jewellery industry in the black forest. the westweg trail is one of the black forest’s best hiking routes. with it’s 285 km long-distance hiking path from pforzheim to basel, you have the chance to appreciate the region s landscape and cuisine from the peaks of the black forrest.

hike: cristal clear lakes, impressive mountains, soothing forests and berlin techno music. the tazekka national park in morocco features forests of cork oak and holm oak, caves, canyons, rural landscapes, cascades and a mountain jbel tazekka which is some 1.980 meters high. its a joy to hike through, yet it flies under the radar of most visitors to morocco. sometimes, if youre really lucky, you can find a beautiful aragonite near a spring in one of the beautiful caves, that belong to the national park.

the königstuhl is the highest peak in the lower odenwald forest. at its top, an amazing view awaits you - over the neckar valley, rhine lowlands and on a clear day even as far as alsace. high above the university town you will find peace and tranquillity on the numerous footpaths. you can experience the surrounding forests in a unique way on the “via naturae” walking route or the forest adventure trail. on the opposite side of the neckar river, you will find the beautiful “philosophers walk”. in this area you can stumble over beautiful beryll minerals, like the one we used for our cover.

the national park of saxon switzerland in eastern germany, south-east of dresden offers endless ways to have a great hiking journey. the 93km region between pirna and the czech border is one of the most beautiful landscapes in europe. more than 700 summits are available to rock climbers, while for those who prefer to keep their feet on the ground, there are 400 km² of marked hiking-trails, steep treks, paths and some cycle routes through the national park. in this area, called the erz mountains, we found our beautiful cover stone with a typical ore layer inside.
