his low frequency fugitive ep is a welcome return for his bass junkie project, after several years working primarily on collabs. the ep brings four new tracks that maintain the bass junkie sound that brought him such success and notoriety in the first place, with a healthy dose of evolution too.

fist of facts began life in a basement studio on ludlow street, downtown manhattan, in the mid-80s. the bastard child of liquid liquids salvatore prinicipato & ken man caldeira (part of the liquid liquid extended family and original liquid idiot member) the band lasted nearly a decade during which they created a uniquely downtown new york sound. these tracks sat in storage on cassette tape for 25 years are a part of music history. none of them have ever been heard by the public and it will be released as a hand numbered, 4 colour sleeve limited to 500 12 inches.

justin martin is currently recording his debut album for buzzin fly and here is a taster >the fugitive<, a sick underground groove skewered with grunts, grinds and sub bass that finally launches into a gorgeous spring-loaded nu-techno ride. on the flip, more of the same, dastardly.

one more time we choose two little known gems for re-release on 45 rpm single. another single by the same group is pretty in demand by funk 45 collectors. these two sides are not that much known but they certainly deserve the same attention. while funky you is pretty good, uptempo funk, the b-side is the real beauty of this record. love come down is a fine example of chicago soul which has not been re-released yet. hopefully many people appreciate the work behind this release, from both the original musicians as well as those who are responsible for this high quality re-issue.

great album featuring some hot electronix! hailing from spain this is the first release on this d.i.y. label! intense uncompromising tracks of which the a side is rooted in classic detroit techno and electro. the b-side takes the listeners into orbit with some amazing spaced outed tracks. a pleasure to welcome this new label that delivers a first run of only 200 numbered copies on heavyweight vinyl! lets hope they will manage to do a repress at some point because this is too goo do share with only 200 people!
