crazy right? mike parker on float records. with two originals he steals the show. known for his iconic sound which is much imitated, never bettered. just listen and enjoy both pieces of craftsmanship. on the flip side we have our well known cirkle. with two successful releases on float so far he now gets the chance to present himself on the magic black wax next to his personal hero mike parker.

the complete twr72 - lucid release wasn’t enough so it gets a remix treatment by psyk, henning baer, rod, neznan and twr72 itself.
psyk kicks off with a tom based space out remix of lucid. heavy soundscapes and pads are layered over the fine rhythm of toms. henning baer takes care of aporia with a weird metal loop kinda vibe and a straight forward beat rhythm to keep the speed.
twr72 gave colloquial a groovy treatment. with minimal, filtered and slightly oldskool elements they changed the original parts into a little killer. talking about minimal, on the flipside rod delivers greatness on lucid with his cut and slide technique. neznan closes the ep in style, because his style is impeccable. when you thought you’ve heard it all, neznan jumps in. an experimental take on erudite is what you get. and like always, there are hidden messages in his music.

it’s time for our 20th release on float records. and who’s better to celebrate this with than sleeparchive.
there is enough brilliance to choose from, but it all starts with 15 minutes of superiority on the 5x3 loop tracks on the a-side with that typical sleeparchive sound. all containing disturbing drums followed by upperclass sequences which keeps on going.
the b-side starts with title track letter of resignation. is this a clue from sleeparchive? the future will tell. what we do know is that it continues where the a-side stopped. again heavy hitting drums followed by a frisk sequence. he continues this formula on the 2nd track called solitary drinker. and above all we give you a small bonus with 2 locked groove presents: sleep cycle 17 & 18.

twr72 is back with a full new story starring lucid as the lead. lucid dropped out of space on a world called planet earth. it’s luminous and vivid appearance were instantly clear. at first lucid was a bit reserved but during it’s first steps it opened up and showed some colorful emotions and hints of it’s personality. with detailed patterns of communication lucid tried to find a way through this new world. erudite, which was already for a more prolonged time on planet earth, picked up the incomprehensible code from lucid and reproduced it into a solid and clever message. erudite was keen enough to think of a way to communicate back with lucid as it noticed lucid needed help. but it needed someone else to bring the message to lucid. so erudite asked help from colloquial who could easily transcript the message back to lucid. colloquial used different types of frequencies to connect to lucid, but it wasn’t that easy. lucid already travelled further and was hard to reach. therefor colloquial tried to use heavier elements to make a more solid composition. unfortunately not only positive things arrived from space. aporia was a rather negative influence which disturbed the link between colloquial and lucid. aporia tried to force the communication by continuously changing the elements of the message. but it wasn’t all that bad, because at the end aporia brought the two important elements of the message together.

that time when the sun crosses the plane of the earth’s equator, making night and day of approximately equal length all over the earth. equinox is p.e.a.r.l. his debut on float records. as known for his aesthetic grooves we are proud to add this berlin based spanish producer to our catalogue. this three track ep does exactly what the title implies.
equinox i hits it right in the centre, with vibes perfect for either sunset or sunrise. the hypnotic sequence will cut through your brain and makes sure you don’t even know if it’s night or day. equinox ii represents the night. again an incredible solid sequence, but with a raw edge assisted by a haunting soundscape doing justice to the dark. no one is safe for this killer. when day time arrives you will be introduced to equinox iii. this seems to be the most friendly track, but don’t let it fool you. a smart percussive rhythm does the magic and creates the hypnotic experience you can expect from p.e.a.r.l.

the intensity of neznan his personality and talent made us decide to go all the way for this release. his story is remarkable and feels like a paradox. his musical ability is full of details and his creativity is a perfect match with float. if you take your time to understand his visions and incomprehensible ideas we’re sure you will love this piece of art as much as we do.

the 1st remix comes from berlin based markus suckut. a subtle angle is taken on reflect which makes the remix feel sustainable. just the perfect remix to include in his impeccable oeuvre. all the way from finland is analog devotee samuli kemppi, who takes care of the 2nd remix. samuli creates a sudden tension with builds up until the very end. a001, from amsterdam, turns the original reflect into a obscure remix with an perplexing 2nd half. a001s mysterious and quiet appearance is a paradox compare to his musical output. twr72 closes the ep with the bonus track *response*. a solid and barbarous answer to reflect. no words are further needed.
