nice price deal !!! the 8th release on mindtrick records will be by the greek producer and sound engineer mobthrow. mobthrow just released his full length self titled debut album on adnoiseam and is now ready for his first 12inch release which will come out on the 5th of september. the 12inch brings a somewhat deeper feeling to the sound of mobthrow which is starting out with pitchblack on the a side. the 2nd track is flashback and is based in rewind mirror techniques (intro sample remains the same if you rewind it). heavy beats at 140 bpm. it is a story between dreams and reality, as the storyteller (mulholand drive sample) describes.
enter dubcore sets the tempo a little bit higher, balancing between dubstep/dnb. techy production approach (808.909 & tb303 used), born to spin in underground clubs at rush hour. also on the b side you will find a remix of pitch black which is made by german sound designer and composer hecq which kranks up the sound completely and make you slit your own wrists while listening to it!
overall this record is an excellent prove that dark sounding music can be very danceable!

lets remixer speak! >it was great to be asked to do this. originally, i wanted to do something really quirky and funky with the strange vocal in human bond, one of my favorite old tracks. i tried a few times but i couldnt really get a vibe going in the funk realm. so i listened to the original over and over again and then the lightbulb turned on. i realized that the original was a monster rave track, like what you would hear in a warehouse in detroit in the 90s. so i threw out my original idea and went crazy with a huge techno builder, something to hype a big rave just like the original. maybe this doesnt sound exactly like what i usually do but that was the fun of making it< claude vonstroke. aa: >bounce your body to the box was one of the first kms records that i owned and it was all about the mike >hitman< wilson mix and force field on the b side. the production on the original was huge. the 909 groove just pounded everything... when that came out there was nothing that came close to it. so it was an honor and a challenge to mix it myself. first came the futurist bounce mix... not released on vinyl, anmerkung, ... which is more of a cover version than a remix. i had a lot of fun with this one but it definitely has a signature that steps away from the original. so i had to take a run at it one more time to pay a proper homage to the original with the flashback mix< mike shannon...

stranger things- ist eine neue netflix-tv-serie, die gerade in deutschland gestartet ist und international gro§e wellen schlŠgt. die mystery-serie bietet jede menge referenzen an die 80er jahre, vergleiche zu steven spielberg und stephen king werden gerne gezogen. nicht weniger im fokus: der kongeniale soundtrack von kyle dixon & michael stein. von atmosphŠrischen stŸcken bis hin zu treibenden synthie-pop reicht das musikalische spektrum. hier wird gerne eine parallele zu dem score von -drive- gezogen, wohl einem der ikonografischsten soundtracks der letzten jahre. der zweite teil des kult-soundtracks knŸpft musikalisch nahtlos an seinen vorgŠnger an und bietet abermals synth heavy soundscapes in der tradition so gro§artiger filmkomponisten wie vangelis, john carpenter oder cliff martinez. die cd erscheint im digipak.
