after his release on moc last year, dudley strangeways joins forces with michael mclardy for their first joint ep on the label. well known as the heads behind leftback records and frequent collaborators, they each contribute two original tracks in sheer concrete style.

following our last va release label heads dudley strangeways & michael mclardy return with a full 4 track ep. spanning from the dubby realms of spycatcher through to the club ready tumult this record encapsulates the current sound of leftback records whilst providing a cross section of tracks to suit various time slots.

from the array of collaborations seen in recent times, the nottingham based producers dudley strangeways and michael mclardy are back to flaunt their highly recognisable talent on back to yous 6th ep release of >fletchers curve. this 4 track ep sees the duo start with 2 original collaborations >dazzled< and >fletchers curve< with a revisit from adam shelton and matthew styles to help complete the already strong ep.

the 4th ark to ashes release features various artists. 1st we have a collaboration between 2 of the analog room residents, shadi megallaa & siamak amidi. up next are the leftback boys, michael mclardy & dudley strangeways. the a-side features a new project called apse by shadi megallaa & sasha kaline of alka rex. lastly the ep ends with the linguinis remix of monotax which was previously released on igloo records.

although still relatively young, matt star started his career in the late nineties followed by his first vinyl release in 2006. his music has since appeared on the likes of hypercolour, cocoon, repeat music, rawax and many more. following an appearance on the label as part of our latest mix cd (leftback vol.1) matt now joins the leftback roster for his first full ep on the label accompanied by a remix by label heads michael mclardy & dudley strangeways
