after several unknown and mysterious releases, it is now time to reveal whos behind those innovations. adrian dragut, going by the name of dragutesku, is trying to express a different vision of himself. from the dark side of his ego to the peaceful depth of his soul. the idea for the album name, -dualism-, is to show that there is nothing -right- or -wrong- and similar to the concept of yin and yang, who cannot exist one without the other, thus becoming a duality. this release will come out with 8 tracks as a double vinyl, with limited copies.

mood 24 returns with the mood series various artists. for this installment we have 4 special tracks each one to suit different styles and tastes. first up we have nima gorji with his contraction track. a groovy minimal track, repetitive but at same time brings you along through a little journey on the dance floor. dragutesku gives us a deep and dark track with special little sounds here and there to bring suspense and anticipation to this wicked track. negru has a more solid house style. 808 drums, sick sub bass and a jazz melodies. petar cvetkovic gives us some more tech house orientated sounds, simplistic drums, groovy rolling percs and a sick vox to wrap things up nicely.

modeight records is back with a new ep. this pack includes three tracks produced by romanian talent dragutesku. after two successful releases he continues to amaze with spaced out minimal tunes. pumping a1 “faraon” holds us tight with a massive bassline and misty mood. then there is the atmospheric “hipnotic” flys on a2. ethereal and rhythmic “apatic” on the b side lets no one leave the dancefloor.

dragutesku is a new master of micro/minimalist soundscapes, he takes a malicious delight in building upper class patterns composed by mesmerizing textures as well as elaborated structures. the tracks are a mix of clean and precise minimal sound, with deep subs and bright high-pitched notes , slowly developing.

emerging from the romanian underground scene, talented young artist dragutesku finds fapte records with a prepared artwork for this release and by coincidence the name of his 2 tracks match the already made picture, so we’ve called it coincidente. on a side is the psychedelic logo of the label matching the track halucinant, having a minimal creepy sound but with a groovy pleasing vibe in the same time, making one hallucinate when listening to it & looking at the spinning center of the vinyl. as for b side, were we can find the track pastel, we must say we barely found this pastel-painting by leonid a. who gave us the right to use it, completing the art for this release maching the colorful minimal sound of the track by dragutesku later on. these are the true facts and actions (en.trans.= fapte) we experienced and hope to transmit further along with this 180g limited vinyl.

*retraieste romaneste* is a lp in which music speaks for it self, like the translation of the title *relive the romanian way* this original minimal and deep sound of young artist dragutesku brings us one step closer to the roots. the track names are picked after the names of great writers and poets from last century topped by the original artwork, this album makes us relive those moments of pure, inspiring originality once again.

from serge gainsbourg to barbara, from edith piaf to george brassens, all the classics of french singers are included in this very nice 3lp boxset.

they reshape here the main theme from cult yugoslavian tv-show from late 80 s equally named -bolji zivot-. sax galore, relentless house loops, we call it a hit !
on the b side, lyo takes over with -drole de drague-, a feverish frenchie-brazilian affair which carries us straight to the lively and colorful shores of copacabana, ipanema or leblon. inspired lyrics, killer disco breaks, samba infused grooves , guarantee to make sweat any dancefloors !
finally, last but not least, lyo closes the deal with the balearic tinged -la bella vita- in a more mellow and lazy fashion, perfect for those sun drenched moments.

romanian artist dragutesku’s “convalescent” steadily builds from clicks and crackles to full speed rumble, squelchy bass paired with spacey pads and crisp percussion. cali native rithma responds with “watsonville”, thrusting the ripped-cone kick to the front before the softer side slides beneath the rhythm for an all-night drive. russian producer saktu starts the flipside with “veidi”, a neon-soaked breakbeat floater pulling the low end out for the midsection’s chirrupy synth-chat before turning on the jets. from berlin via budapest comes giash’s “new things”, a frictionless ride on a hypersonic rail across a bubbling, tonal landscape.
