alex metric & ten vens transmission 1 is their first release on diynamic, although their productions are not unheard of in the labels orbit as solomun has been supporting them heavily in his sets throughout recent months. opening track the q, much like the closing track plates, are reminiscent of old uk garage raves with a hint of acid. minuscule shifts in the pitch give that certain cassette-nostalgia, transporting the listener back to the early 90s. the centre piece titled nebula is a driving melodic deep house tune with a hefty break that brings things to a halt right at its centre, only to return with the catchy riff that is its main feature.

diynamic präsentiert mit der doppel-ep -picture: moscoman- sechs neue tracks des israelischen wahlberliner dj/produzenten chen moscovici aka moscoman, gleichzeitig gründer und betreiber des eklektischen labels disco halal. moscoman vermag es dancefloor-tracks zu kreieren, die gleichzeitig eine vielzahl an emotionen wie verlangen, hoffnung, melancholie oder sehnsucht transportieren, die noch lange nachwirken.

ow finally on vinyl: artbat are bringing their first full ep release to diynamic music. the three-tracker -planeta- starts off with the title track -planeta-, a rapid-fire techno odyssey that might as well be taken from a relentless pursuit in a futuristic action movie. this is followed by the gloomy bassline of -prometheus-. heavy on percussive elements, the track is divided in half by a cascading synth-break only to return with more layers of percussions, strings and the hypnotic bassline. closing off the ep is -sand in your shoes- featuring london based artist dino lenny, who has previously worked with madonna or wu-tang clan and produced remixes for underworld, missy elliot or timbaland. the collab track is a dreamy deep-house tune and a perfectly emotive way to finish the record.

magdalena s -elementum ep- is her first full ep on diynamic music. the 3-tracker marks the beginning of a busy summer season for her. the opening track -mountains of es cubells- pays tribute to ibiza s after party culture – which occurs in private houses that open when the clubs close, out in the warm air and sunlight, and a very intimate atmosphere. the protagonist s verdict -i think tonight i see ibiza like it was 25 years ago- sums it up perfectly. -nautilus- is a dreamy melodic house cut, ethereally swerving through a sea of hypnotic percussions and brassy synth elements.
closing off the record is -radialis-, a brooding and gloomily minimalistic techno tune.

nach seiner -essenza ep- anfang 2016 meldet sich der italienische produzent andy bros mit dem 3-tracker -midnight love- wieder zurück auf diynamic. der opener und titeltrack ist eine düster-hypnotische techno-hymne erster güte, gefolgt von dem house-tune -family ritual-, dessen gefühlsgeladene stringarrangements von johannes brecht live in den berliner red bull studios aufgenommen wurden. für die ende-der-nacht-momente auf dem dancefloor sorgt schliesslich der romantische deep house-burner -hilltop town-.

was bewegt einen erwachsenen mann dazu, sich fŸr einen ganzen monat aus der zivilisation zurŸckzuziehen und sich in eine kleine hŸtte in den italienischen alpen zu begeben? im fall des hamburger musikers stimming war es die arbeit an seinem vierten album, das nach seinem refugium, alpe lusia, benannt wurde. die frage nach dem warum beantwortet stimming mit den stŠndigen wohlstandsgesellschafts-ablenkungen. stimmings album beginnt mit dem plŠtschern eines bachs, und in gewisser hinsicht ist es genau das: ein fluss, der in seinem verlauf neue stršme aufnimmt und somit an energie gewinnt, aber stets derselbe bleibt. zeitweise rei§end wie eine stromschnelle, andernorts ruhig wie eine flussbiegung, doch immer aus derselben quelle stammend. ich wollte etwas eigenes machen, eine reise die sich (abgesehen vom grundrezept house) mšglichst wenig an aktuellen stršmungen orientiert, so stimming. wenn man auf das feedback diverser kollegen vertrauen mšchte, scheint ihm dies gelungen zu sein so meint z.b. dj koze: ich bin begeistert. wahnsinnig warm, runtergestrippt, tief, verspielt und vor allem eigen! fast wie jemand, der einsam auf einem kutter Ÿber die meere gondelt und vor seinen kisten sitzt auf ritalin
