sixth release on the burgeoning diner city sound label, we have featured the legendary 1979 orchestra before on a well received collaborative effort with his buddy volta cab on dcs004. we decided to invite him back to release his own ep with us. 4 brilliant tracks, beat down and fun all round from this exciting young producer!

diner city sounds fifth release, back to the start with matthew kyle who helped kick off the label with dcs001. four of his personal favourite tracks make up the 12, a brilliant release! a1: do it charlie - mk at his best! slow, grooving edit, super sexy vocals and really beautiful percussion. words cant describe the greatness! huge sound cloud hit as well. a2: midnight- hypnotic track, just beautiful! synths are incredible, cool little vocal and light percussion. b1: i want myself for you- fun track, one to make your booty bounce! nice use of a well known sample, brilliant vocals. all round heavy groover! b2: inside - love things slow right down on the final track. a lovely, atmospheric track with a great beat - showing off matthew kyles baby-making music talent! top class

a1 volta cab & the legendary 1979 orchestra -­ the ideal now: this track planted the idea for a collaborative release. a superb house track for the summer months, what a bomb! the track has an amazing groove, melodic keys and heavy percussion. feel good stuff!.
a2 volta cab -­ sakura: volta cab at his best, a chilled out deep house. huge atmosphere on this one, deep bass and gentle percussion gives a slow groove.
b1 the legendary 1979 orchestra ­- juicy warmth: this is the track that attracted us to 1979. chopped samples, nice atmosphere and a killer bass ­ just how we like it!
b2 volta cab - in the middle of the night: volta rounds up the release with a slow and sexy, deep house beat. a big vocal sample, beautiful brass and tender percussion. killer!

a1: sweet love - diner city style! cool vocal samples, rolling synths and heavy grooving percussions. a trippy, disco house track. a bomb!
b1: una splendida dubbata disorientata - sexy, slow and deep! popping riff stands out amongst the keys and chilled atmospherics. when it kicks into the main section things really pick up. a brilliant track for the end of the night!
