having both been on the scene for over twenty years, mote evolvers founder luke slater and dutch producer steve rachmad are considered veterans of the techno scene - both outlasting the genres various dips and flourishes in popularity.

straying away from their more familiar cutting-edge drum & bass landscape, im:ltd are taking to pastures new with their latest offspring from the somewhat uninhibited and off-kilter quentin hiatus. with a deep sun-dappled atmosphere, mixing old-school house vibes and snappy hooks with a dirty south laidback feel, the different strokes ep might be another mellow and melodic release but its not going to blend into the background. showing a real sense of movement and progression, this ep surely deserves a full play through as each track unravels in its own time, and fits together in order like an audio jigsaw puzzle.
