second v/a compilation in the deep series from deeptrax records.

deeptrax proudly present the first various artists sampler on deeptrax records called deep series 1. after receiving demos from artists all over the world we found beautiful tracks that would fit perfectly together on a great sampler for home listening or proper dj massacre.
mcm starting off with a minimalist analogue techno groover. that flows into a great atmospheric acid track from lowe ake user. next to that, the mysterious 1989...
the b side of this ep is more focussed on minimalistic house music. one half of tsempoo named tserg already did his wonderful debut ep on deeptrax. together with a friend he releases music under his second alias named tsempoo. rich p, who will do multiple releases on deeptrax ending the ep with a simplistic though wonderful handcrafted techno. an ep full of heavy drum rhythms, moody synth lines and ambient soundscapes throughout.

the deep series imprint returns this september with its sixth release, a split ep coming from nekes & george p., including sascha dive & skipson remixes.

despite the fact that he has been producing house music for a long time, this is orazio fantinis first feature release. this canadian musician is a jazz enthusiast, but his true passion lies in house music. he comfortably moves between deep house and jazz and seems to feel pretty good doing it.

deep series is back! the third deep series features a fascinating symbiosis of two individuals: ekkohaus and santos resiak. the two of them started to work on this project in 2009 and are now finally ready to share it with the rest of the world. during that time, ekkohaus made a splash with a whole array of top releases e.g. 2020 vision, circus company and cargo edition. santos resiak was also having a blast – e.g. after his last release at mothership. the three tracks on the new deep series fuse together the artists still unbroken enthusiasm for deep sounds in one melodic common denominator. >thanx but no< is a homage to the saxophone (btw: played live by robert wuerz). heavy with groovy loops the track creates a free floating ambience reminiscent of a jazz club in new orleans or a night club on an early morning in berlin.

again att series comes with a great techno weapon! this time attemporal guys present a couple of tracks between classic, raw and futuristic sound as they usually do. on the remixes brendon moeller as echologist and the new project from finland >deep space helsinki< signed by samuli kemppi and juho kusti.

the third split 10 inch from deeplabs and revival records. the deeplabs side is a raw detroit techno cut transition by martin muller (aka youandme). the revival side is ms612 by dario zenker (harry klein records), a deep and forceful techno groover with a moody bassline.

the latest release out on separate skills recordings is written and produced by the israeli protagonists deepa & biri featuring gene. the promising talents and key figures in the electronic music scene of tel aviv have massive support by the most respected legends from detroit. there is no doubt that these young guys are musically rooted in a direction we call techno with a wide range focus on chicago and detroit. concerning their activities yaron deepa, itai biri and gene adnew are well known artists by now with impressive releases on labels like upon you, rotary cocktail, circle and material.

this split release sees deeplabs jeroen search on the a-side with bal masque, a raw and analog soulful dancefloor monster. on the b-side isaev, who has released material on chez damiers balance alliance label, brings a futuristic masterpiece cut from his home in russia.

split 10 inch featuring iori asanos bloom on the deeplab select series side (run by detroits luke hess). deep techno with a hard driving rhythm. the flip is from sascha dive on revival select series (an balance alliance spinoff) and is a deep peaktime house cut called la santa danza.
