for our hike 006 we’ve got cyrk for you. meanwhile the boys are root artists on hike and we are very proud to present their upcoming release. this time we present you a hiking path around pforzheim, a city known for its jewellery industry in the black forest. the westweg trail is one of the black forest’s best hiking routes. with it’s 285 km long-distance hiking path from pforzheim to basel, you have the chance to appreciate the region s landscape and cuisine from the peaks of the black forrest.

the backroom club was packed with the hottest kids from the street. the movers and shakers wore their finest clothes to get down to the boassanova rock whilst the gangsters and players watched on from behind luxurious red curtains. in the murky shadows some exchanged more than just pleasantaries in the form of parcels and goods. they were devilish figures who existed only by night, when the streets were no longer safe for the do gooders to walk. this was a rough and ready town. cyrk is set to release a new ep on the infamous rawax record label. a charming assortment of well crafted house and some sophisticated electro cuts for the club. rounded up by a fantastci remix from claude young!

the königstuhl is the highest peak in the lower odenwald forest. at its top, an amazing view awaits you - over the neckar valley, rhine lowlands and on a clear day even as far as alsace. high above the university town you will find peace and tranquillity on the numerous footpaths. you can experience the surrounding forests in a unique way on the “via naturae” walking route or the forest adventure trail. on the opposite side of the neckar river, you will find the beautiful “philosophers walk”. in this area you can stumble over beautiful beryll minerals, like the one we used for our cover.

cyrk is a live show and studio duo that now starts life as an exciting new label in the hands of two berlin based producers sierra sam and pascal hetzel. they have both been playing all around the planet as a live act and dj pair for some time, and now mark their first collaborations in the studio with an excellent inaugural release on their own new label. bolstering the brilliant ep is a remix from the legendary rolando.
