it sounds ridiculous to state that this is efdemins best release so far on curle, when you realise thats the artist that brought us classics like acid bells and america... but the whole ep truly is amazing from start to finish. all tracks feature efdemins brand new second mix-album called naïf.

limited to 100 copies, including download card with mix. efdemin a.k.a phillip sollmann returns with a striking hybrid concept that merges the album format with the continuous dj mix format, presenting completely new material in a seamless manner. this mix, named naïf, officially reinstates his label of the same name and is a sprawling tour of inner space featuring 19 distinct tracks from fellow producers along with an additional ten that feature efdemin himself.

since making their debut on the imprint in 2013 with blue aconite, the italian duo hiver has since released two more eps on curle. kicking off the ep is elipse, a stunning four-minute track that nods to avant-garde artists such as wolfgang voigts gas alias or brian eno, as the pair gradually weaves several layers of shining, atmospheric tones before slowly fading into the background

after a two year hiatus, kiani returns to his far out systems alias for this ep, his first offering for a label outside of his own tanzbar records.

edanticonf s music feels perfectly crafted for the brooding atmospheric venues he so often performs in. both the aforementioned adjectives can be attributed to his style of techno too, one that places the focus less on the technical side and more onthe human one, aiming to reflect his emotions and state of being through the hazy soundscapes that draw influence from the natural scenery around him.

i got to know gavin russoms music thanks to the amazing the days of mars album he recorded together with delia gonzalez now ten years ago on dfa records. flash forward to last year, when we released michele mininnis trippy endless ceremony. gavin russom loved that one and sent over a demo shortly after - youre listening to it now. i am really proud to be able to release an ep from such an extraordinary artist, enjoy! 1st pressing on splattered 12! matt obrien first came to our attention in 2005 with his off-key industries releases hidden high and serotone, which would later get a license on rekids. his first contribution for curle was back in 2007 when he remixed efdemins acid bells. in 2010 he made up the flipside to dozzy & van hoesens track on curle 024. after starting over in 2011, were proud to welcome matt back on curle for his second full ep. dont forget your scuba glasses, its deep!

no need to introduce jonas kopp anymore. the argentinian made his curle debut in 2008 and has been a regular guest with releases and remixes ever since. desire will be his third full ep on the label!

we have always been a fan of pablo bolivars sound. he already did a track on curle018 and we are glad to have him back on board for a double ep this time. in the meantime he released an album (as pulshar) & ep on loco dices desolat label, did remixes for audision, mikkel metal & scsi-9, and continued to run his own avantroots imprint.
the spark ep consists of a 10 and a 12 inch. the clear vinyl 10 inch includes two dreamy ambient/electronica tracks, and an oldschool electro remix by versalife – better known as conforce. the red marbled 12 inch consists of pablo bolivars signature slightly dub orientated deep techno sound. the package is limited to 300 copies.

kevin gorman isnt a man of many releases, but when he does release something, its always spot on. his last release was on ostgut ton, thanks to ben klock. he also has his own label, mikrowave, and already did remixes for cocoon, clr, skint etc. >cast< is a real techno bomb, just like the jonas kopp remix on the flip. not for the faint of heart!

franklin de costa is someone we have been following since his first releases on trapez ltd. we still believe >kronn< on curle014, franklins debut for curle, is one of the strongest tracks we have released so far on the label. this >fragile ep< gives again a great taste of franklins qualities as a producer. whereas the title track is definitely the one on here with the biggest peaktime dancefloor potential, the three other tracks show franklins firm talent and diversity in crafting organic deep house tracks that step out of the ordinary. truly a special ep.

without a doubt >golden dusk< is the best track we have heard so far this year. a very rare combination of deep techno and dancefloor hysteria! limited pressing on golden marbled vinyl.

conforce is the moniker of a 22 year old bloke from the island of terschelling in the netherlands. he is currently living in the city of leeuwarden where he works as an audiovisual designer. at the end of 2007 rush hour released his first 12 inch >our concern<, which got big support from people like josh wink, rolando, derrick may and laurent garnier. >junction< followed in 2008, with again raving feedback. to quote resident advisor: >quite simply he s a rising star<. now there are 4 amazing tracks from him on curle, hope you like em as much as we do!
