clone classic cuts continues their re-issues series for one of the most influential techno acts ever: drexciya. the second selection of tracks includes favorites such as bang-bang,positron island,anti vapour waves and journey home complimented with some lesser or unknown tracks. raw, uncompromising music made with soul and creativity have always has been the trademark of drexciya (and also from their original label underground resistance) and this album is another showcase of their talents. btw there is not much further background info we can give. all that can be revealed is already out there.

clone classic cuts serves another cult italo disco classic! gorgeous female vocals slapped on that lovely 80 s synthesizer/drum programming. this is one of those releases that easily makes it into the top 50 of all time greatest italo disco songs. produced by roberto ferrante (also known for his pinneaples project) and originally released on the obscure airport label in 1984. we managed to restore and re-master the original versions and the lovely paris mix. on top of the original versions we serve you a new re-rub by italian italo specialist bottin (eskimo, artifacts etc). bottin did a great job with a new crazy soundhack mix that cranks up the energy level and makes it more jackin. pretty amazing when you realize that these tracks are making people dance for 28 years now. more then enough reason for a proper re-release on high quality vinyl. enjoy!

when being into collecting records for more then 20-25 years there is not much left that can be considered the holy grail of house music... so we wont call this a holy grail. however for us its a track which was impossible to find because it was simply not released! only a hand full white labels on dj international have been floating around, but it never got a proper release. finally we managed to get the rights and more important a proper old recording of sterling voids instrumental version of serve it up. his first ever recording done in chicago, 1987!

a big forgotten chicago club hit from 1984! pre-house release from knight action which came out at the very beginning of electronic dance music. before house was house... before techno was born and when club music was just called disco. single girl was a big hit in chicago clubs like the music box and was played by ron hardy and all the hotmix 5 guys (farley, mickey oliver etc.) and its still a big collectors item. made with the first electronic instruments and without any pretentions... just made for the fun of making music. d-rail is one of the very first steps to jacking house music. another (almost) forgotten piece of dance music!

great hands in the air italo disco tune. very obscure italian act from the mid- 80s with a crazy song about being a plastic doll or something. as far as we know this was the only release dharma did... probably the plastic she was made of wasn t the strongest quality... unfortunately that is because this release did definitly stand the test of time! great record and we are happy to be able to offer this again!

unit moebius is known for techno in the netherlands and beyond, mainly through numerous releases on their own independent labels bunker and acid planet records.

the robert owens vocals are so intense and emotional that it gives you goosebumps all over!. maybe even stronger is the track itself. a one of a kind track with a totally unique groove and a bass line not coming from this world. the dx sound that makes the track so powerful sounds like some kind of mutant machine that is going to get you and eat you. and the sublime combination with the robert owens vocals makes this the high light in the history of house music. the original version has been released on larry heards own alleviated label (1987!) and the bootleg instumental was released on r&s.
