following a killer acid-piano house 12inch and contributing a test pressing-certified new-disco chug to a split release with tuff city kids (both) on terre des pommes in 2014, the working elite further refine their ability to soundtrack festivities with rockman / born again. while rockman conveys an understatedly cinematic mood with repeated imitation string cycles over crisp electro foundations, born again presents a new wave / rave endurance test, summoning perspiration from dedicated day-dancers with its metronomic hammer of a beat overlaid with motivating synth-lines like marching toys. on the flip, saap and lauer (tuff city kids) provide inventive interpretations of these tunes, reshaping rockman into a stomping, flashing-lights electro jam while born again gets a delightfully multi-dimensional digi-dub treatment complete with acid-reggae breakdown over a 4/4 house beat.
stuntman mike is a guy with special taste for cars, women and especially music. in his car radio groove is allways present. here s a second part of what he prefers to hear when things get interesting. from motor city , a house legend like alton miller, gives us a gem with this detroit house sound. from the city of rising sun miruga makes an elegant, jazzy and groovy awesome track. and from spain two deep house masters. on the one hand jesus gonsev brings a tasty bass and juicy string. on the other hand ernie explores his dark side with this deep and dusk track. four great artists for this new soundtrack. mikes takes it out loud in his car. what are you waiting to do in yours? limited to 300 copies.
the time has come for disco trash music to rule the world!
the guys are back on absolut freak records (after their famous remix of play paul on the af16) with the summer hit >bumper cars< featuring the south african mcs spoek (well-known for his works with djedjotronic, stereoheroes, evil nine or chris de luca) and big space on vocals. the vinyl ep contains a massive remix by the french sensation just a band (aka tom deluxx & romain grenier), a tropical bass version by the rulers of the genre schlachthofbronx (winning success on disko b and man recordings), an electrifying remix by the german wunderkind from dim mak dirty disco youth and another powerful track by disco trash music called >lets play drinking games<.

shit hot electro house fresh 2008 remake of gary numans 80s smash cars. incl tommy trash remix!! already in the cases of all major jocks. big uk hype! a monsta tune!
finest disco flavoured deep techhouse 4 tracker !! motor mouth are fresh ! new electro house disco masters from stuttgart germany. martin welzer ( dj friction, freundeskreis ) and philipp könig (blendbrank, kris menace ) are well known for their fat disco productions on their own and various hot remixes they did the last years for labels like !k7 and global underground. the two originals are rockin old shool disco with housy deepness and straight forward beats like we know from acts like spirit catcher or star you star me. no wonder we loved it straight away and had to sign this new and exciting project for our players paradise imprint. if this was not enough we topped the whole thing off with 2 extra full on remixes by our mixmaster james flavour and a reinterpretation of motor mouth member dj friction himself who delivers a fine piece of nu skool disco for the leftfield dancefloors.the james flavour checker mix is as always deep ! with his typical house groove we know from tracks like test 5 and da ride.
more euro-italo-electro-disco rarities from the automan himself.. patrick cowley's 'sea hunt' was originally an album track only and has never appeared as a 12.. factor's 'fast cars' is an early 80's chicago proto-house track complete with new wave influences
in cars we rust is their debut album, and it presents the most complete picture of exercise ones world to date. the dancefloor stormers are still there, and the records flow is guided by the same spirit of improvisation that drives their live sets. but the clubbier material is rounded out by sounds weve never heard from exercise one before: gorgeous, enveloping ambient tracks soundtrack-ready synthesizer ballads even a kind of retro-futurist electro-pop.
