dj bwin follow up leibnizs inaugural release for the newly-founded hundert imprint with a three-track ep. trinity draws on feverish breakbeats, hardcore influences and about 2.3 gigatonnes of bass. having released a split ep with dj ok on irelands first second label, trinity sees the production duo venture into the realm of the ancient and the mystical, the inexplicable and the possibly made-up. conceived as a triangle with one foot deep in the past and the other one in a future yet to explore, trinity points all gunfingaz to the startling revelation that, hey, were all living in a computer simulation anyhow. informed by the ancient knowledge of the dubstep elders and jungleÆs relentless search for a grain of truth amongst the lies fed to us by the lo-fi house empire, dj bwin bring together the unholy trinity of paranoid hoover chords, melancholic textures and piercing synth notes for an ep that henceforth shall be known as ?banging atmospheric hardcore continuum derivatives for late-night hours. this is not a pyramid scheme or is it?

the foundation of this dub album was created by some of the finest sessions musicians ever to grace the studios of 1960s & 70s jamaica. their instruments were the cornerstone to countless dub lps that began to surface in the early 70s and continued on into the 80s creating a whole new genre of music. as they did back in the early days of dub, the kingston all stars gathered together in kingston, jamaica at mixing lab studios and laid down a series of riddims that would lay the groundwork for what comes next: the singers. both greenwich farm rasta, prince alla, and falsetto, cedric myton of the the congos, contribute vocals to the album but half of the riddims on this lp are, to date, unreleased, and have yet to be voiced. in essence, this album is a sneak peak into upcoming releases. the style of riddims that were created during these sessions range from the cumbia influenced reyes dub to the ethiopian jazz flavored kebra dub that pays tribute to the african sound system, kebra ethiopia sound and shows the wide variety of influences that fuel these musicians. tracks like dub ova combine ansel collins keyboard work with hux browns infectious grooves to create a funky rhythm that you have not heard the last of.

first second label s third record untitled ep comes from dj ok + dj bwin, which is two projects by leibniz alongside felix paul (making dj ok) and golem club’s alex hoppe (making dj bwin). the record consists of 4 old school, beat heavy and break infused house cuts ready for the club.

the debut release by glitterbeat records is a limited edition 12 inch with two dubbed-up remixes by electronic music explorer, mark ernestus. the tracks are pulled from glitterbeat artist, ben zabos self-titled and highly touted, 2012 debut album of frenetic, malian afro-rock.

by the age of 15, david rodigan was djing at school dances and youth clubs. the infectious, crazy back beat of jamaican ska first captivated him as a teenager in the mid 60 s, it was a driving, energetic sound which he found impossible to resist. when the pace cooled down and condensed into rock steady david was equally enamoured because the sweet, aching vocal style of jamaica s young stars could be heard to full effect.
