ohm series promises to round up some of the best and the brightest within the dub techno scene –and for its debut offering it has truly delivered.we have four examplary tracks of the quality to come from this series. side a begins with stojche, the macedonian techno veteran. a pumping dubby techno fitting for the late night dancefloor. it follows with a cracking collaboration between thor, the head honcho at thule records & ohm, the man responsible for this release. it s an enigmatic dub techno journey –finely crafted as expected from those veterans of the scene. the flipside beginswith waage, the mysterious dub techno wizard, who offers an atmospheric and meditative dub techno extravaganza. it s subtle, yet intriguing. the ambient dub techno legend yagyabrings the release through the finishing line with his signature powerful glacial techno with dubby chord progression that has made him such a force to be reckoned with in the scene. ohm series is the brainchild of the establised copenhagen-based techno artist ohm (bjarnar jónsson) and was founded in 2021.

bade records launch the first vinyl release on the label, with a four-track ep by label co-founders brothers black and tape fear.2x2 series 1 is a split vinyl, showcasing the individual styles of the duos. brothers black kick off the a1 with extrasensory, a shimmering tool with luscious, uplifting pads and a looping lead. their second contribution on the a2, late night call, is a driving euphoric weapon, perfect for the early hours of the morning. on the other side, tape fear showcase their unique sound for the first time. jump system, the lead track, provides a complex blend of old-school breaks, euphoric pads and vocal samples that will be received well in any setting. turn that thing off offers something different with a fierce 808 groove and unsettling acid lead, perfect for the early hours.

a1: david goldberg revealed his exceptional talent releasing an extraordinaire debut ep on svs records. “m4l-uv” is a euphoric breakbeat track that won’t fail to make you dance.
a2: kit curse made his mark within the dnb scene during the last years having released on labels like cyclone, onset audio or shadowforces. “weird solace master” is a broken ritual that reveals the producers experimental side.
b1: “zezbo version” by skee mask is a superb dnb trip leading you through an industrial shadow world. the producer upholds his reputation as an exceptional artist all along the way.
b2: top shotta runs the uk bass orientated label ruffhouse. “m-performance riddim” somehow sounds like a race and a fight both at the same time.
b3: the style of bean is a postmodern blend of ambient, idm and dubstep. “tears” showcases this eclecticism within just three minutes.

deeptrax proudly present the first various artists sampler on deeptrax records called deep series 1. after receiving demos from artists all over the world we found beautiful tracks that would fit perfectly together on a great sampler for home listening or proper dj massacre.

the b side of this ep is more focussed on minimalistic house music. one half of tsempoo named tserg already did his wonderful debut ep on deeptrax. together with a friend he releases music under his second alias named tsempoo. rich p, who will do multiple releases on deeptrax ending the ep with a simplistic though wonderful handcrafted techno. an ep full of heavy drum rhythms, moody synth lines and ambient soundscapes throughout.
