aria rostami and daniel blomquist are from san francisco, ca, though rostami has recently moved to brooklyn, ny. rostami and blomquist s work occurs in two stages: the gathering/preparation of source material and the live performance.

!! 70% xmas deal !! - last copies left , we re back with aria rostami s czarat ep, spring theory s sophmore release. rostami is a san francisco-based musician whose roots extend off into theoretical dimensions far beyond conventional dancefloor fodder (his material has appeared on labels like audiobulb and crash symbols). for czarat, however, he s honed his approach to produce an unusual dancefloor anthem. melding influences from around the world, the song arrives at something that sounds like acid house and techno as interpreted through an internet-enabled, information rich dialog of the present moment.

spring theory is proud to announce its latest release, an lp from san francisco-based experimental producer and label alumni aria rostami. titled agnys, it s an intensely personal and introspective reflection on friendship, loss and rebirth in our hyper-connected society. a rumination on a collaborative project started with rostami s now deceased production partner, roommate, and friend shawn dickerson, it utilizes a melodic and ambient techno sound palette to take the listener on a journey that touches on the uncanny permanence that information technology lends to the tragic fragility of the human experience.

after a debut ep and a deep second one this time carlo zanelli has released a six tracks ep based upon a recording session done a couple of years before. every track have his unique character and the entire ep is intended more as a journey rather than a collection of different tracks making this a complete work ranging from ambient tracks to more danceable ones.
