sold out - repress 2017 , its gonna be summerly again in the fauxpas musik catalog and while its tour de france at the moment, were releasing the album chapeau rouge by french artists bruno bourmendil aka folamour. four tracks taken from the album will be pressed on sunny yellow wax including a sunset-red innnersleeve, a risograph printed inlay and a download-code for loading the entire album. the nice design concept was made by alex ketzer again. were looking forward to a warm and sunny summer 2015. vinyl tastes better…

folamour is a new name in the roots for bloom family but by all accounts he fits right in. the opening track nights over you rocks an original and an edit from the label boss himself jamie trench. it focuses on emotive chords, mesmerising key lines and as always on rfb a great groove and low end. the vocal sample cuts the break and takes the limelight of the track. the a2 last morning screams sunshine again focussing on a strong vocal sample -when the morning comes- which you cant help but picture sunsets to. folamour s last offering is $0$ which reminds us of the likes of 90s disco cut samples with great strings and keys throughout. a strong offering from a new head on the rfb scene.

folamour is the co-founder of moonrise hill material, lready released on fauxpas musik, d.ko records, luv dancin records. have been pushing sunny, soulful and housy wax and cds for few years now, all around france and else. equally influenced by french 90’s house, soul, gospel and hip-hop, folamours first release on noire & blanche sits in this great line of records you like to play at home or in the club.

the aim of „métamorphose“ is to offer a voyage to the listener. the pieces really often start quite dark and then the mood turns into something intimate to catch the audience from the deeper spheres. sometimes it goes the other way as well: the track starts in a happy way and turns into a deeper vibe. by doing so the listener should notice his own feelings and try to completely let himself go. further he should be aware of his emotions: on the one hand the happy and melancholic and on the other hand the dark and rather monotonous side. in addition to the musical part to each track there is a specific artwork which was made while listening to the tracks and is based on the emotional expressions which were triggered by the sounds.

*sagan om lilla vargen* is a musical drama created by the quartet wobz. its a tale of the little wolf who is forced to move out of the woods as it is about to get renovated. the journey to the city makes for an adventure in sounds as the citys noise and stress gets intensified with lifestyle coaches and different obstacles of human interests. the members of wobz are active in the sound art and electronica genre. the vinyl release comes in a gatefold sleeve with cd and download code.

deep dark industrial ambient. a slowly evolving soundscape with boiling buzzing sounds, resonating through the dark world.the berserk was perhaps one of the world s best fighters, which in old norse time sworn allegiance to the norse god odin. before a battle berserkers excited each other up and occurred in bearskin or wolf skin, hence the word berserk. in the beginning of the battle they performed exceptionally talented, indifferent battlers, but in close combat they fell into berserk. then they howled like wild beasts, probably to frighten the enemy and incite their comrades and themselves, and then get into rages. a berserk in battle were said not to bother about any injuries, and was therefore until the enemy, or they died.

mikael strömbergs alter ego igor has created the album *fast & slow* who is an aspiring masterpiece in the ambient genre, the references are very clear to the 70s iconic ambient school, including satie-cage-eno-soundart, but at the same time a modern touch and a sense of the present. the story behind this album is the least frightening and fascinating as the composer strömberg was seconds away from losing his lives when the aorta ruptured all the way from top to bottom with the diagnosis: acute aortic dissection. the music became a part of his rescue and the record *fast and slow* came about as part of his healing process.
