the nice belgium 9300 records from the small town named aalst come with a new talent from their local family delivering some fine tunes in the style of legowelt latest releases!

belgian new beat and trance influenced tracks by betonkust, innershades, robert d and deris.

betonkust immediately blended in with the 9300 family and it felt like we ve been knowing each other for years and years. after his characteristic remix on innershades latest ep (aal006), it was only a matter of time before he would deliver his own release on our label. with varied percussions, hard kicks and dark synths, the 0% swing ep brings you back to a time when belgian highways were still lavisly flanked by discotheques and afterhours clubs. an era that counts as one of the most beatiful pages in belgian dance history and of which betonkust probably has more knowledge than most of our fellow-countrymen. all four tracks on this proper release produce a thrilling energy that will bring those sleepy ravers, from the 90 s, back to life.

after inaugurating the label with a first ep in december of 2014, innershades returns home to deliver what will be the 6th release on 9300 records. kerrebroek memories is the self made soundtrack of his childhood memories in the shared hometown of aalst (belgium). expect to hear a homage to early dutch electro with a modern twist and innershades well known trademark for dancefloor injected house tracks. rising dutch star and new bff of the belgian 9300 family betonkust polished the a1-listed darkness fades track into a melodious electro classic.

robin de wolf delivered us three solid tracks under his new alter ego robert d . while un ni yo is a house track with a wavy sound and affective synths, the second a-sided track dommel is a banger that begins with a smooth intro that changes over into hard kicks and raw bass chords. on the b-side, you can find a more melancholic uptempo track that goes by the name of white s wisdom. interstellar funk tops it all off with a remix of un ni yo that combines the wavy sound of the original with synth-heavy electronics. an absolutly killer ep!

jacking chicago tracks on this first ep by offenbach s freshmen am unit containing three original tracks plus a solid remix by lauer (one half of tuff city kids). a-sided gotta slow down and hold back are classic examples of dancefloor fillers while b-sided raw jam is a hard and super effective acid track that leaves no-one indifferent. the dub mix of gotta slow down by lauer is an oscillating interpretation of the original track with an efficient piano line! limited to 400 hand stamped and numbered copies!

as for the 3rd release on the label, 9300 records called in fellow countryman walrus, the three original tracks on his ep take you to the left-field side of the house music spectrum while the remix of the title track, modeled by dj october, is a robust techno track that will simply hit you in the face.limited to 300 hand stamped and numbered copies !

9300 records returns with the first ep by shin, a relatively unknown, belgian producer duo. they gave birth to three solid tracks with low kicks and raw bass chords, synths that are highly 90 s trance influenced and some acid vibes on the b-side. the cherry on top is a remix of mistress by none other than legowelt! danny wolfers discribes the ep as flemish achromatism , which is a good reference to its melancholic undertone.limited to 300 hand stamped and numbered copies !

limited hand stamped 7 inch, we can t remember the last time we came across a 7- single of straight-up deep house. certainly, it s a novelty, though there s little novel or cheeky about the two tracks showcased on this diddy, coloured vinyl release from spain s minuendo label. 2deepsoul s a-side, -home-, is effortlessly melodious - a warm, rich and enticing blend of shuffling rhythms, swirling chords and the kind of blissfully electronic melodies that make you want to dance with your eyes shut. there s a more organic and quietly soulful feel about owen jay and melchior sultana s flipside effort, -deserted-. blessed with a delicious double bass line, bespoke keys and a whisper of motor city techno (in terms of the electronics, at least), it s a sublime chunk of sensual deepness.
