12 Inch 30.10.12
stay remixes is the sophomore release from we have friends music, vancouvers newest label, the brain child of west-coast staples, mike mcsuede and james boatman.
dino sabatini is not just a prologue artist having the first 12inch release in our catalogue, he is also one of the most authentic prologue artists who is responsible for providing the well known prologue sound aesthetic.
curle is back in full force this fall with new stuff from lucy, jonas kopp, albert van abbe and more to be announced soon. and frank martiniq of course
proteus: a solid, dynamic and linear track, with strong harmonic resonances and a slowly growing rhythmic in a hypnotic groove of atmospheres. definitely a dancefloor one!
nereus: this track has deeper mental space sensations in which hypnotic noise sequences travel smoothly in a crescendo of acid riffs.
limited special edition on green & black marbled vinyl! brilliant nighttime techno stompers by fabio agostini & philip row make this ep a very special weapon in the recordbag of every dj! played and supported by chris liebing, sasha carassi, markantonio, damon wild, patrick dsp, xavier morel and various others!
supported by: lauhaus, boris werner, nick curly, federico molinari, kabale und liebe, nekes, johnny d, sascha dive, markus fix, dj wild, chriss carrier, ilario alicante, loco dice, mathias mayer, brothers vibe, karotte, tanzmann, matthias kaden, raresh, robert dietz, reboot, ray okpara
played and supported by laurent garnier, angel molina, kirk degiorgio, samuel l session, alan fitzpatrick, freddy k,dustin zahn, obtane, truncate and more. thinking outside the crowd, trying to obtain their own sound, their identity, sometimes through random ideas ,good ideas were born. iac2 is one of these. its the homogeneous union between the dub chords of emanuele and riccardos progressions. a meticulous attention to detail.. a desire to escape from prejudice and conformity are perceived through the atmospheres and the chord sequence that evades throughout the track.to wrap it all theres a stunning remix by future beat alliance (tresor)with continuous modulations on the main theme.this is a real trip into warm sounds of analog gear, evading through infinite progressions. the other remix has been edited by the painter of the moon : quantec (echocord), emotional and atmospheric dub techno as he always knows to do.its distortions and unusual sounds make us understand his concept of evasion.
first time only on decks.de !!! gianluca meloni - ostinate sin (original) - solid track, no mercy, obsessively sinusoidal but with intense harmonic colors growing through infinite, showing gianlucas long experience as musician and producer.
gianluca meloni - ostinate sin (dino sabatini remix) an erupting volcano maybe is the best way to define the crazy rhythmic of this remix, killer dynamics bass frequencies and psicoharmonic filter treatment over noise generated percussions shifting sound perception, to be used with care, to avoid dancefloor explosion!
canadian electro mainstay lowfish, lets loose a preview of his forthcoming >hypersensitivity< full-length. lowfish is gregory de rocher, and barring last years >memories…< album, a compilation of vintage archive recordings, this double-a-side 7 inch is actually the first new lowfish release since 2008. while his last 2 albums could best be described as serene and clinical, electro at its most austere, lowfishs return to suction records, the label he co-runs with solvent, also marks a return to a more melancholic electropop sound.
berlin imprint items & things reintroduced itself earlier this year with madatos epic ep speak of the she devil. now the labels trio of techno connoisseurs - marc houle, magda and troy pierce - entrust their imprint to italian up-and-comer danny benedettini. danny caught the production bug at an early age, and his taste for the old school can be heard in the throwback feel of tell me quietly. its a retro-tinged trip through modern dance floor sounds, with slickly executed beats and tight arrangements
played by loco dice, luciano, estroe, stephan bodzin, luca doobie, afrilounge and many more. p.toile is back. her single >faces< hooks up with the other releases on ostwind ... an exclusive sound, driving forward with lots of esthetics and sensitiveness is the trademark of p.toiles tunes. she knows how to tie the crowd down with a certain looseness. to perfect this vinyl, frank martiniq, youandme and cosmic cowboys will contribute terrific remixes to a marvelously successful release. many thanks to all artists for this outstanding jobs. save the vinyl!
from the very start, track one the first thirteen minutes of love opens the album with over ten minutes of ambient unlike anything you’ve heard in years, a long, elegiac composition somewhere between carl craig and the chill-out zone at a bygone rave. it’s a warning: take a deep breath before being swept away by eight tracks that span detroit and berlin, front 242 and carl craig, linking them via soaring trance, carefully-crafted minimal, the sound of the 90s, the sound of the new millennium. it’s hard to imagine the strike force and heart pangs it will inevitably inflict on any club in the know
sonic groove welcomes berlin based friend, italian born producer dino sabatini to its family of artists. dinos brand of hypnotic industrial tech noise hit the spot with many last year with his double ep daughter of phorsys on killer techno imprint prologue, germany, a killer release that many top techno dj supported. now for his first release of 2011 dino continues exploration into the dark side of the industrial techno sonic groove with his four track small step ep. a masterpiece of deep dark electronic music ranging from peak floor burners to dark deep mind burners that techno & industrial lovers from around the universe will surely love.
without a doubt >golden dusk< is the best track we have heard so far this year. a very rare combination of deep techno and dancefloor hysteria! limited pressing on golden marbled vinyl.

big with: lauhaus, boris werner, nick curly, federico molinari, kabale und liebe, nekes, johnny d, sascha dive, 2000&one, markus fix, dj wild, chriss carrier, ray okpara,.. ama recordings is ray okparas label out of mannheim, germany. amaefule, rays middle name in fact, literally means >your name will never get lost< and it symbolizes the strength of identity we create through music. ama is also derived from the latin meaning of love and the philosophy of the label is born out of the affection held for conceiving and sharing quality electronic music. there are no rules about what ama recordings will sound like, but it comes from the heart, so expect true house values to be maintained at all times with a natural tip towards the deep and dubby.
first on decks.de !!! recall the daughter. survived the first, ready for next! its getting darker, sure to destroy any dancefloor. excellent, brilliant, awesome, epic ! nothing more to say ! techno for fans of berghain...
first on decks.de !! dino sabatini! we love to have him on prologue. try this first part of our double release of the concept >daughter of phorsys<. deepest energetic driving tracks, monster baseline and loaded with hypotonic everywhere. beware – awesome! and enjoy the part 2 called daughter of phorsys recall ep as well.
first on decks.de!!! >blast corps< opens the ep with a surge of delayed baseline. crispy static rises from below and echoes swoop and simmer beneath the full blooded base. it builds insistently, the 4/4 structure is infused with far off blips and the dusty sizzles of lowpitched white noise. on dark star warm dub keeps the sound organic. it’s elemental, the baseline seems enormous enough to have a gravity of its very own and the other elements pull together around its weight. it teases, the breathy elements twitch, fidget, become fully formed but refuse to drop. frank martiniq refuses the obvious, and opts for the discerning. this is the stuff of intrigue, as is the percussive opening to b2 >lovelane<. here a rattling, clattering sequence breaks out into a euphoric, syncopated structure. its dark, playful and danceable techno.
>the last time...< is the new ep from the much respected miami artist, gosub. expanding on the electrofunk experiments from his previous releases, these tracks are a sleazy stab at predicting funks future. the intro track, >the broadcast<, appears in instrumental form on the vinyl, and sets the tone for the ep with its laid back slide.
after the music components album, arnaud rebotini (blackstrobe) deliver the first ep from the new project music components rev 2 a collection of remixes by martini bros, donova or steve moore. you can find here some remixes by chloe, jesper dahlbäck, blackstrobe & xaver naudascher.
>i m that alley< is the new single from south african shock-poppers sweat.x. it comes as they embark on their two month european tour and is a taste of their forthcoming album >187<. >i m that alley< is a departure from vocalist spoek mathambos hyper-surreal rap style, and, together with markus wormstorms finely designed production, is a modern take on the classic synthpop love song. accompanying the title track is >the knife<, a freaked peek into the world of sweat.x, a favourite of their live shows, it finally gets released here. third track on the single is a remix of >i m that alley< by new york-based mike slott. slott has been making waves with his work as one half of heralds of change and this remix is his best work to date and is already being used to close out his live set. the release also includes instrumental versions of >the knife< and >i m that alley< for maximum club efficiency!
deep electronic minimal stuff from arnaud rebotini. plays & support by timo maas, clemens neufeld, lars wickinger, man at arms, sascha krohn, tyler stadius, ...

reinventing the word dj, insideamind is the leading force in turntable music performance. knowing no limits, innovators steptone & professor fingers raise the bar high with their natural showmanship. spellbinding soundtracks, head snapping breaks, tears, laughter, and magic make up their acrobatic, high energy onstage flow. blowing away audiences not just with clever samples, but an onslaught of layered beats, big bass, and sudden switches to live improvised remixes that pull crowds deep into their world. the tiniest spy is insideamind?s first vinyl single, the title track features the exquisite vocals of laura barrett from paper bag records, over the furious drum beats, scratches and soundscapes created by steptone and professor fingers. a matter of time takes you a head nodding hip hop feel, featuring a daunting techno style remix by murr (from lal) and old school hip hop remix by toronto?s circle research crew (a recent signing to melting pot music).
after his album with black strobe released in 2007, arnaud rebotini comes back with a new ep and a 100 percent electronic live. arnaud hopes for entering in a new approach in which live is the beginning of the project’,s conception. the idea is to build a dancefloor set without using laptop or external sequencer but around emblematic machines (tr 909, tr 808, sh 101, juno 60, korg monopoly). this producer wants to let us share his studio experience in live. “,music components”, is an album of romantic and timeless techno where rebotini goes back to hot and groovy sounds of his first productions
the only major song from prince’s classic film, purple rain, to have never previously been released... finally, after 25 years, comes dez dickersons lost minneapolis classic, >modernaire<, mastered from a newly discovered tape recording. as if that wasn’t enough, the record also features a freak-a-holic cover version by egyptian lover. keeping the spirit and energy of the original alive, there are remixes by hot persuasion, dmx krew and faceless mind, driven by the searing beats of the 808 and linndrum. backed by a disco-machine version by complexxion, this is the sound of the modernaire!
