couple affair 03 - a new era in steyoyoke s history. this year couple affair is back on the shelves split in two parts filled by heavy hitters. a journey to connect one other, each track features two steyoyoke artists, and their unique approaches to creation together.to have a single producer work on a track can result in a creative masterpiece. two members give one another the opportunity to learn, grow, and re-shape the future of their sound vision. constantly evolving arrangements, sound creation, editing and mastering, steyoyoke makes a point of pushing boundaries with their latest edition of couple affair. artists featured as couples on this collection are soul button, dahu, nick devon, mpathy, clawz sg, and blancah. pulling in members from all ends of the world, this collection will remain as a ode to progress and evolution of music.

somethings are just done better when they are done together and the same can be said about soul button and sasch s latest collaborative work unfold . the two steyoyoke men have come together to show just how passionate they are about producing music that is rich with feeling and emotion.

after the success of his debut ep back and forth, sasch returns with the much hyped and anticipated lazy strings. the ep features two new tracks from the artist and they are accompanied by two well crafted remixes from soul button and mario aureo

in celebration of the labels emergence within the industry, steyoyoke has put together a special remix ep to be released on the evening of its rst anniversary party. the ep is made up of ve remixes from some of the industries most talented djs and producers and testifys the labels recognition

after the success of shadows and a string of recognised remixes, the anonymous dj and producer soul button is ready to play again with another tantalising release. this second helping of masterfully produced music comes with the same endearing heart that beats so strong within the work of soul button and with the purest and most surprising vocals that have become synonymous with the work of this talented artist. the ep features 3 alluring tracks each with their own unique and well crafted sound to help captivate feelings of uncertainty as we brace for the winter months to come.

antonio olivieri presents a sort of tightness and sheen quality in his tracks that grade him a highly skilled and polished producer. antonio helms a knack of finding inescapable mood and desire in this 3 track ep, >rudiments< the latest from steyoyoke, and arguable its most exciting output yet. the ep combines elements of repose and melodic tranquility with dance worthy tracks. as the title suggests rudimentary components provide the basis, in a way that distinguishes each track to its own dance floor setting.

steyoyoke delivers another charismatic affair for the labels fifth release with bartoks three track ep entitled >deeplodocus<. brimming with diversity, bartoks ep runs the gamut of deep, to funky, to ambient, to big room sounds. his versatile, well rounded production skills are manifested throughout, pushing the envelope with genre bending beats that have been crafted with beautiful restraint, all the while delivering big-room sounds that will keep you dancing into the late summer nights. another solid release for the steyoyoke imprint and we will be expecting to hear much more from the extremely talented bartok.

an air of mystery surrounds the artist responsible for steyoyoyokes third release, titled >shadows<. the anonymous artist, given the name soul button, takes the helms for the labels may release, and as signs of summer emerge in berlin, a three track ep comes to soak up the heat. an energetic and driving release equally fitting in a restless dance-floor or sun drenched terrace. soul button is a new artist from steyoyoke records, and we are excited to announce the artists first release on the label. with each track bringing new flavour to the ep, you may find it hard to pick a favourite.

steyoyokes second release truly shows the labels love for eloquent and surprising house music. the labels second release by their own dahu comes in strong with an atmospheric ep called >deep in the woods<, two crisply produced tracks likely to arouse the senses. berlin-based dahu describes his music as >atmospheric house with delicate melodies and bass-driven sound< and with this, his first release on steyoyoke, he certainly stays true to his word. craftily blending a shuffling percussion with a resonating lead, dahu creates a hypnotic journey reminiscent of rustling leaves and a walk through a dark wood at night. an exciting and atmospheric ep from dahu provides a solid second release for berlins newest imprint: steyoyoke records.

amazing record! tip! steyoyoke is a new berin-based house label and its first release is the three track >if i were music< ep by im fine (marco perschon & alexander grafenauer) and antonio olivieri. im fine are a production outfit who first met at berlins music engineering school, sae, and have since gone on to establish a tight working relationship and are currently working on a debut album reflecting their jazz, house and techno influences. antonio olivieri is italian born but now resides in berlin and has developed a firm reputation via releases for silicone souls darkroom dubs and lustundfreude, amongst others.
