catalog number-yotsume 002- used as a missing number in long years is released as the 5th work of sasaki hiroaki’s yotsume-music. this “winter ep” is sasaki’s latest release.it includes a remix by stewart walker who is a berlin based producer and based on experience releasing distinguished labels such as force inc, tresor, m_nus. starting from sasaki’s track a1”winter” has a long dubby bass, a pad sound is covering this euphoric minimal work which rhythm comes and goes like a returning wave. it likes snowscape of japanese ink painting. b1”stewart walker snowflake mix” is a reconstructed “winter” landscape and soundscape by stewart walker’s minimalistic approach.the grain of the sound with the three-dimensional feeling scattered on the low-frequency, it conjures images of the snow piling over the white, chill earth.b2”over” shows the another aspect of sasaki’s emotional side. it has a simple but selective rhythm and matter-of-factly composition of piano and pad sound, which makes us feel the end of a long journey. it s quality and brilliant minimal house release is shown how each of these three tracks differ this time. vinyl only.

transit records 005, -without end hours“, comes loaded with phat, but definitely distinct dancefloor bangers that take the title of the ep quite literally. they cover a full night (and day) out in the club, and range from dark, technoish house („when your groove is mine-), over uplifting re-interpretations of classic house anthems (-without end hours-), and dystopian tech-house (negativ dekadent remix), through to sizzling after hour house (zuckermann remix). ryoma sasaki’s originals show his love for classic electronic music blueprints and how he is able to turn them creatively into something compellingly fresh and contemporary. it feels like listening (and dancing) to something you know, but not from the past, more so from the now. and while they wonderfully work in that now of the night, negativ dekadent turns this familiar feeling into an uneasiness with the future, only to make you forget about it in the abyss of his beats and overwhelming synth patterns just before the morning breaks. finally, zuckermann fully beams you into the slightly distorted new world you might find yourself in anyway at 11 am on a beautiful sunny morning on one of those (berlin) dancefloors.

transit records kyotos 4th vinyl is here. it includes two different types of floor killer tunes from japan. the a side track is composed by well-known japanese producer hiroshi watanabe, also known as kaito. the track has very beautiful melody that was made by the artist live in tokyo, japan. the b side track is by ryoma sasaki who runs this label. also, he did djing at world-famous clubs such as tresor berlin, has excellent dj techniques. the track is an unique uplifting house, suitable for peak time.
