pendulum ist eine australisch-britische band, die pumpende drum & bass und electro-beats mit treibenden rock-elementen verbindet. ihr hit-album »immersion« von 2010 chartete auf # 1 in uk und markierte den weltweiten durchbruch für die band. neben dj-sets und keyboards benutzen pendulum auch traditionelle instrumente einer rockband, wie schlagzeug, e-gitarre und e-bass. mit »the reworks« liegt nun das neue album von pendulum vor, welches dance-remixe ihrer bekanntesten tracks beinhaltet. mit dabei mixe von skrillex, moby, devin townsend, noisia u.v.a.

sumerian fleet is a trio formed by dutch producers alden tyrell and mr pauli, joined by zarkoff after their 2010 debut ep. their second ep came out in 2012 followed by their debut album ‘just pressure’ on dark entries in 2014. sumerian fleet have returned to release their sophomore lp ‘pendulum’ of all new material as well as a remixed version of “this game has no name” from zarkoff’s other band, fffc.

für sein bereits drittes album pendulum swing unter dem moniker laish verließ der britische sänger danny green seine heimatszene in brighton und stellte sich den herausforderungen der großstadt london. diese frischzellenkur ist dem singer/songwriter bestens bekommen, denn neben sanften folksongs auf der gitarre intoniert laish nun auch veritable art-rock-jams. und mit dem zweiten song des albums learning to love the bomb ist ihm auch ein radiotauglicher ohrwurm gelungen.
