nach gut einem jahr nach seinem debut release (b 103ep) folgt nun die konsum ep. 3 tracks die nicht nur um 5 uhr morgens zum tanzen einladen. floatig und deep und dabei immer die tanzfläche im blick. aber achtung, der genuß der blauen welle kann dich in andere dimensionen abtauchen lassen. allerdings bei mitnahme zb einer schlagersüßtafel und nen 5er lutscher dürfte das so schlecht nicht sein. unser tipp für alle alle nichkommerzielle djs : konsum des konsums ! sajonara in the next life.

die erste minicompilation (aufwind ep) erreichte nach kurzer zeit einen kleinen kultstatus. die zweite hat diesen bonus schon jetzt. ob dialsches deepness-verständnis, trapezsche funkyness oder die straightness von k2. die geheimnisse von le cuisine b, nolte, der oertliche & a.l.s. brauchen sich nicht verstecken.. tip

carsten franke macht nach der >professional killer ep< und der >open closed ep< den hattrick mit seiner dritten solo platte. seine tracks bewegen sich stets zwischen den stuehlen, kommen aber immer auf den punkt. dreckige basslines gepaart mit einer unbeabsichtigten funkyness lassen aufhorchen und koepfe nicken. nun ist er mit der >shadows & signs ep< zurück auf ostwind. ein funktionaler 3 tracker mit einem remix von le cuisine b., der carstens >shadow & signs< in einen klassischen 303er techno track mit old school und funk einschlag umfunktioniert. der groovige electro techhouse titeltrack, schwebt erst sachte daher, um sich nach dem mittelteil als ranziger schieber zu entpuppen. der leicht knarzige a2 track gewinnt schon am anfang und laesst durch ein aufkommendes gitarrensample die spannung steigen. track b2 hat eine gemeine acidbassline und funktioniert durch die hauptmelodie als errinnerung für den abend !! was als minimaler techno anfaengt entwickelt sich zusehens zum modernen acidtrance.. supported by gebrueder teichmann, holger nielson and monoroom

ready to take off?! denn hier kommt der naechste rollentausch bei ostwind. kombinat 100 shuffeln rockig durch die puppenkiste, hauen dem kasper eine aufn latz, packen alle matroschkas in die rakete und düsen gleich mal ab bis zum mond weahrend minikosmonaut marlose lieber auf dem boden bleibt und da für die noetige ordung sorgt !!!

nachdem hüftenwackler remix für die b103ep(ow003), werden nun die rollen getauscht und kollektiv turmstrasse veröffentlicht ihre debut ep !! >melodrama< ist wie eine nicht endende geschichte auf dem dancefloor, die durch den synthi sound und den treibenden rhythmus auch hätte von james holden erzählt werden können. >altona connection< hat den wind im rücken und fluffelt mit seinen harmonisch leichten percussions immer stätig nach vorne. nils nilson minimalisiert das melodrama und baut nach und nach einen leicht dreckigen, fx geladenen stomper remix auf, indem sich das gesprochene >disconnect me< wahrlich im ohr verankert !! beste ostwind bisher...charted by umek & pan pot (mobilee)

der nächste streich der ostwind crew macht genau da weiter wo der letzte aufhörte.. marlose sagt hallo und drückt minimal richtung floor während molle und kombinat 100 schon mal den frühling einleuten !! herrliche remixe die unter die haut gehen, so manches herz schneller schlagen lassen und mit sicherheit das ein oder andere open air beschallen werden !!! well done..

endlich ist sie da, die dritte ostwind mit 3 ergreifenden tracks von nils nilson & einem fulminanten remix vom kollektiv turmstrasse..die 12inch startet mit morgens kurz vor sieben, ein freaky leicht angedubter minimal track mit dem nötigen punch um die party so richtig auf kurs zu bringen. mit parkplatztreffkommt uns ein futuristisch superb klingender minimal sound entgegen, der so dermassen locker dahersprudelt ohne uns jedoch seine detroit roots zu verheimlichen. der extrem quirlige kollektiv turmstrasse remix (abzweig turmstrasse) hat nicht nur am abzweig die kurve gekriegt, wahnsinning knorkiger & gleichsam geschmeidiger techhouse der besonderen art, very spooky. als abschluß track fungiert rollsplitt, ein rollender oldskool detroit track mit leichtem tejada einschlag, der so auch 1994 im e-werk berlin hätte laufen können, vielleicht der heimliche hit dieser ep.. wird u.a. schon gespielt von michael mayer (kompakt), raumagent alpha (festplatten),holgi star (microfon) und duplex 100 (morris audio)
