big with marco carola, josh wink, onur ozer, ali schwarz, radio slave, slam, anton pieete! after the success of the first release from piemont and daniel dreier, the label return with round two, this time from jett stalwarts, lownza. the 22 year old parisian duo are looking to make their mark on the scene and having already remixed jett001. todays creme ep sees the pair drop two super dj tools in creme de chataigne and little garden, backed by a strong remix from denmarks martinez, who we know is currently rinsing it at the ibiza closing parties.

this 12inch debut by suokas is designed to charge the techno floors. >battery< features two anthems of 9 minutes each which are stripped down to their evolving fat grooves and will keep your audience jumping. probably the purest techno record to date on this label, sporting true power instead of superfluous adornings.
goodvibe records project is an effort to expand the boundaries of hugo, and his favourite producers music, beyond standard nightclub beats. after the bright side, its time to reveal hugos dark side for the second release of his new imprint goodvibe records. hugo takes the listener down the darker alleys of his production and demonstrates to himself that 4/4 beats are made of many different feelings. we are all strongly attracted by the dark side of life, of humor, of music. it doesn’t make us bad persons, but in fact make us as comfortable with ourself as we could possibly be. it lightens the seriousness of subjects dubbed taboo. lets go on the dark side!

tejada and humphrey made their debut together late in 09 with their >marooned ep<. >assimilation< continues the theme of being marooned in los angeles. the four works compiled here are the result of the best moments out of 20 recording sessions. the music is for the most part assembled with analog instruments with humphrey and tejada bringing their modular gear together for the sessions. humphreys knowledge of synths and programming is quite extensive. he until recently helped operate la based big city music, a dealer of modular and boutique synthesizers.
hes back with one of his best releases in years: falko brocksieper, artist in residence on treibstoff, labelhead of the freshly resurrected sub static roster, dj and master of small gestures with big impact.
our dutch counterpart onno is known for his dance floor mastery. his after school ep on upon you was a multifunctionalmover that could teach any lethargic raver a few aerobic moves. >hit me< is in the same league and is completely unsuitable for yoga and pilates, so hes succesfully targeted the blonde dance instructor once again. onno brings the a1 fatburner to a peak with his charming impertinence. thomas schuhmachers pimped version of this awesome rave stepper on b1 tugs and pulls at your pants dragging you kicking and screaming to the dance parquet, where you soon realize that you never want to leave, but for those of you that want to lose some weight also know that you always need to condition yourself and >ghetto talk< on b2 is the perfect bouncy tune for that hour or so on the treadmill.

africans with mainframes return with the sound of something ending, a monstrous 3 track ep full of heart pounding, dirty industrial styled acid house that way that they can only do. along with the title track, the pleasure seekers and 98.6 throw down some seriously heavy energy.

while dj-ing at a party in slovenia glenn wilson met up with producer mike humphries and realised they had similar music & production tastes & set up punish records which they use to release most of there own productions. the raw edgy techno it was releasing soon got noticed by the likes of dj rush and dave clarke just to mention a few, and with the classic punish 4 release aural exciter the label truly got accepted as one of the great uk techno labels. infact the label went on to be the outlet for glenns debut album entitled nightshift which was true to the raw techno vibe the label had become famous for. 2010 sees the labels return with a classic heavyweight release. glenn wilson & mike humphries - aural exciter the remixes which has been remixed by the likes of adam jay, kimono, mattias fridell, submerge & virgil enzinger..

murphy jax and mike dunn with some classic chicago tracks as if dj international is still in its hay days! murphy jax sharp production catches the 25 year old chicago house vibes and delivers a more then excellent tribute with one of the greatest voices in house. and a great debut too! on remix duty its legowelt and alden tyrell doing what they do best... tearing up the dancefloor with devastating remixes. legowelt in a psychedelic way and tyrell throws in some 303. difficult to pick a favorite with these three versions
solid as it should be, a chuggy serious drive is shown, combined with well constructed raw hats loops. a very smooth disco influence is noticed on the vocal cuts and a funky >lead padding< in the background. the hotcomer leland mcwilliams is showing his interpretation of the track in a funky and tribal way. percussions and a shakers, combined with a funky baseline and a short house lead.
