i d play this ep just on the strength of the a-side but i feel like a lot of attention will also be given to the b-side called >rhode island<. this is a classic piece of deep house with all the melodic elements of a dirtybird jam.
tom sent me at least 7 tracks before i signed these so the guy is certainly prolific and i expect to hear quite a bit more from this up and comer this year.

here it is, the third release on the snuff crew label snuff trax! on snuff trax 003 you find winter in june. you might already know this track from the snuff crew livesets. winter in june is maybe the most melodic snuff trax release so far. this floating music is not only for the body - it s also something for the heart. on the b-side, dance disorder, who release on labels like bpitch control, deliver a fantastic and very epic remix. this mix was also already played by snuff crew in their set for tim sweeneys beats in space show. stx 003 is limited to 250 hand-numbered vinyls.

this edition also incl the maxi cd ... wir betrachten uns eine griechische spezialität : zunächst plattennadeln vom staub befreien, ohrschmalz aus den ohren zupfen. das vinyl von beiden seiten mit salz und pfeffer einreiben. mit limettensaft beträufeln. die hälfte der kräuter und die lorbeerblätter über die schultern werfen. die haare gleichzeitig mit holzspießchen zustecken. die rechte gesichtshälfte auf ein geöltes backblech legen. danach alles mit Öl beträufeln. knoblauchzwiebel putzen, halbieren, mit auf das blech legen. im heißen ofen (e-herd 200°c/gas stufe 3) etwa 25 minuten backen. ca. 5 minuten vor ende der backzeit übrige kräuter über die haare streuen. anschliessend vinyl herausnehmen und mit grobem salz bestreuen. mit rosmarin, thymian und limette garnieren. fertig ist die schmackhafteste brise aller zeiten. i-kie & nikola gala sowie fog & arara bieten ein gourmetschmaus an, der sich gebacken hat. vier tracks, die auf jeden teller gehören.

with their first co-production, dj / producer paul woolford and the irish-born producer team paul hamill and dee lievense aka psycatron deliver the prove that uk techno has not lost any of its energy or visionary power in the year 2010. after releases for carl craigs planet e label and r & s (psycatron) resp. 2020 vision or renaissance (paul woolford), the two tracks on the >thunder ep< are consequently moving to the next level. >thunder< impresses with extremely dynamic drumming and always changing percussion patterns. a rhythm body that is constantly in motion and will be enlightening every single dance floor with its hypnotic power dub. >cloud 9<, however, is stepping back at first and stresses an explicit chord techno structure despite its solid pumping elements before integrating some noise rave signals following the epic break after some 5 minutes, as it was totally naturally and thus letting the whole floor blast off. with such joy of telling and the eagerness to experiment in a musical way, you are really looking forward to the winter club season 2010/2011!

a spiral of evolving and heady, sample-laden tracks unfurl on paco osunas latest ep, a richly produced melding of continent-spanning talent, with paco partnering up in the studio with real-life amigos daniel sanchez, alex under, joseph capriati and alexi delano. the amigos ep presents driven, moving grooves with satiating build ups, over densely-layered samples and drums. osunas seasoned skill-sets in the dj booth and as a producer come together knowingly in this release. osuna and his dutch/spanish counterpart daniel sanchez combine melodic and percussive samples in kawuriel, whilst with madrids alex under as his cohort, osuna transfixes with waaaa - featuring a distinctive pitch shifting sound throughout its phasing. your understanding of its unusual name will become abundantly clear upon the first listen. also notable is wope, which contains woodblock-esque percussion samples that compliment the rolling bass, co-produced with italian musician joseph capriati. the eps finale, waxfix, is a combination of the talents of osuna and swedens alexi delano, resulting in another cleverly-derived arrangement of steady bass drums and strong high hats. its a well-locked and smoothly syncopated, loop-based groove

marco resmann has done it. the studio computer is purring again like a satisfied kitten and those dark technical storm clouds have passed by. to prove that a streak of technical bad luck which he has just gone through can sometimes enhance creativity he has come up with this little gem of a new single >drop outz<. on a1 we have >mal pas< (transl: difficult road) which is an ode to the suffering he went through with his computer. but dont worry, its just a name, the track itself is as light and sweet as the stuff that we love from marco. b1 is also little beauty, no dark clouds to be found here either, and b2, a cracker called >whats cracking< is the ultimate proof to anyone that the sun always shines at upon you. enjoy and always think happy thoughts friends
2000 watt take any number of watts, in our case 2000, add a few tasteful sounds, refines the whole with a driving bass, and at the end rounded with a grandiose arrangement. brian sanhaji realized it perfectly in his track >2000 watt< and asked to table. fucking shot the b-side, as is known, the quieter part. >fucking shot< is not. rather, we have another highlight of the techno genre. attemporal proves with his track, that a certain hardness in music, fullfil the feeling on the dancefloor.
