nicolas demuth aka parra for cuva left his small town to study sound design in the wild, vibrant berlin. the various musical influences of the city only boosted his already strong fascination in producing electronic music and helped developing his unique sound. also of great importance is his long lasting friendship to singer anna naklab, whose voice stands in perfect symbiosis to his compositions.

the beauty of one of those nights can be found in the blend of simplicity and functionality. both tunes are outlined by an almost brutal reduction to the core elements. carefully selected sounds that are arranged in a highly effective sequence of patterns - that is the definition of fabio papa s music. his long time experience as a live performer is reflected directly in his productions. it doesnt take a lot of elements to get a perfect groove he states, but without groove, there is no fire on the dancefloor. the record gets topped off by two powerful remixes by ander and the f.e.m. ensemble.

2017 repress !! chicago house legend mike dunn digs deeper into the vaults to deliver a series of his own personal dj edits moving across jazz, funk, soul and disco. the series focusses on tracks that inspired the early chicago house scene (tracks that you would hear at the music box or warehouse) and edited to perfection by mike dunn for maximum effect on the dance-floor. limited hand stamped.

folamour is a new name in the roots for bloom family but by all accounts he fits right in. the opening track nights over you rocks an original and an edit from the label boss himself jamie trench. it focuses on emotive chords, mesmerising key lines and as always on rfb a great groove and low end. the vocal sample cuts the break and takes the limelight of the track. the a2 last morning screams sunshine again focussing on a strong vocal sample -when the morning comes- which you cant help but picture sunsets to. folamour s last offering is $0$ which reminds us of the likes of 90s disco cut samples with great strings and keys throughout. a strong offering from a new head on the rfb scene.
