the flames still burn white hot on friedas musics first record. this seems to be no reason not to throw more explosives on top. with the elephant carousel ep the second label maker don ramon inspires a dance carousel that makes even the most peaceful pachyderms on friedas soil rotate. all four tracks are infectious to body and soul. each for itself an original. all four tracks extensively tested on the party crowd by aunt friedas nephew. rather in a club night or at a funny after hour- hands were in the air and the corner of the mouths were rising high. a very special delight for the friends of the upper class reduction surely is the argenis britos remix of the track wild goats. all in all definitely an ep that streches the trunk in the sky!

i-robots is an alias of opilec music boss gianluca pandullo, a long time dj and producer with a penchant for classic techno and electro cosmic disco. for his next project in the esteemed i-robots reconstructions concept series the italian re-edits some classic material, all with the permission of the original artists. the tracks in question are derrick mays hugely influential *emanon* cut, recorded under his rhythim is rhythim alias and originally released in the 1990s on his own seminal transmat records label one of the most important imprints in the early days of techno alongside kms and metroplex. the second track which was first released on metroplex, the label juan atkins founded in 1985 and then re-released and reworked on sound vision - is *game one* produced by the legendary juan atkins and orlando voorn as infiniti. the latter of these pair has already released a number of times on the opilec music label.
large music returns to the show with the 4th edition of large wax! four fresh deep house cuts designed to rattle the bins and steady the needle. side a features londons james dexter dropping a nu garage bomb and jakobin & domino from luv shack records with a deep detroit-style workout. side b continues with a slow burner from rising star sek and finishes off with matt prehn from oh so coy recordings and his warm chords and vocal stabs on love u back. hot!
