hightime inc. is the unit of the two guys “dj tasaka + j.a.k.a.m. (juzu a.k.a. moochy)”who know each other since teenage in tokyo. they have been on their individual career on the different fields. in 2017 they dropped their 1st album “alchemsit now!”which includes various musical influences as hiphop,house,techno,jungle,world music etc.. and it does not belong to any of them. their miscellaneous blended dj set with their own tracks explodes vibrantly as a fundamental passion for the dance floor.

one sided 12 inch hard hitting, direct revisions for classic christian morgenstern techno projects

the album a little comedy, a little drama by dusty baron is the result of collaboration of moldavian fellows eugen kara, ivan slivka and dima scripnic. this collaboration has been lasting in the course of 2016, with miscellaneous recordings at home studios, including moldavian radio and television studio. inspired by french and italian psychedelic electronic music of 60s and 70s, cartoons and the comedian genre of absurd, the trio tried to incarnate their vision of the space into a lp comprising 13 tracks. vintage synthesiser lines and classic drum machines create a hugely entertaining blend intoxicated with universal love. now and then you trace the combinations of techno rhythms rushing into the futuristic vertical, and sometimes the sound transforms into a blend of absolute and exotically influenced reverie.

the last and eighth release in this series opens up with christian wunschs remix of ex machina on the a-side which is all hypnotic bounce, roaring chords, cutting through the irrepressible groove. morbecks remix of ghost town on a2 is an atmospheric but tough interpretation of the original, kicking hard with jackhammered drums, coupled with metal scraping metal sounds and a simplicity that makes it a handy tool to build great tension on the dance-floor. the b-side kicks off with jonas koppss remix of miscellaneous pt. 1 – creatively pairing the heavy rolling 909 drums with a classic four-on-the-floor clap pattern and topped with the eroded drones of the original track. b2 is a re-mastered version of the utterly timeless and epic club hit “1969” by the mastermind christian morgenstern himself.

datashock from saarlouis, a collective of multi-instrumentalists. founded in 2003, they ve been losing themselves in the wardrobes of their subconcious ever since and have never been frightened to play around with whatever they can find in there, trying out colourful sound-costumes and sending out psychedelic-experimental sounds, with a huge discography counting more than 30 between albums, eps and miscellaneous. their latest work -keine oase in sicht- released on dekorder in may2014 has collected some great feedbacks from the like of the wire, pitchfork and more. with -hd trailer ep- they find in gang of ducks a new sympathetic home where going ahead with their unique psychedelic sound. the cosmic caravan takes its journey in 4 different original tracks, exploring the psycho acoustic sound with echoes of far and never existed worlds together with an irreverent vision of our world today, with its new mania and obsessions.

the sixth release in this series of eight opens up with alexander kowalskis remix of lydia to the edge of panic on the a-side. kowalskis version is a pounding techno monster, with a heaving baseline and delayed chords, hinting at a more sinister dimension beyond the edge of panic. trolly routes (aka. oscar mulero) remix of miscellaneous pt. 7 on a-2, lulls and hypnotizes with an acid-tinged interpretation of the original track, that nods to the plus 8 school of techno. the b-side kicks off with jeff rushins remix of little green apples, pairing the spacious and beautifully gloomy background atmosphere of the original track with a heavier version of its rhythmic framework. the final track gives us the re-mastered original version of confort corpse, which displays christian morgensterns uncanny dedication to exploration and his love for the 80s.

the second release in this series starts with the heavily supressed and hypnotic energy of efdemin’s spiegelkerker remix on side a. creating a dreamlike atmosphere, the track is carried by a slowly developing beat that keeps you totally engaged as it floats along. as a contrast, psyk’s remix of miscellanous pt.7 on b1, with its classic 909 drum appeal and engrossed pad harmonies, creates a very deep classical vibe worthy of a black dog reference. the final track, a remastered version of morgenstern’s return of the living deaf presents its pleasantly over-funked snare programming and build-ups that forge “true techno” eclecticism and dance floor functionality into one mighty laser sword of a track. limited to 300 copies

sunwalkers is the b-side project of rks, thats what happens when the power of the beats meets the light of the synths. a raw mix of miscellaneous pad and analogue drums that start with a tribute, a detroit reminding track, 303 acid bass and a blaze of sweet melodies, like the old school way says. the ride goes on with 2, an easy dancing jam, the piano chords run into an unceasing clap for a massive dirty floor killer. on the b-side terrence parker puts his groovy piano style on a brilliant remix of the light, seven minutes of pure detroit parkers energy with a dreamy heartbreaker bridge.
