a fresh new collaboration with some top notch house tracks on this split release. agnes probably needs no introduction after his recent release on plak and running his own sthmllaudio, and he delivers all quality. big revelation on this 12 is jonny white with his tikkun olam... already a office favorite here at clone... we keep playing this over and over... somehow reminds of old deeper house tracks by mr fingers (athmosphere and basslines) but with modern productions skills. killer track and killer split release with some forward thinking house music thats embracing the future, without forgetting the past! recommended!
episode 7 of the light with special guests from greece - this hellenic duo deliver this time a powerfull ep with lots of energy and brilliant fresh ideas - incl a.paul remix!
wheres joe is a deep minimal house track with great production work and a very special atmosphere. the b side is a rework version by great italian duo minimono, keeping the deep original vibe alive but adding a stronger groove perfect for the dancefloor!!
following closely on the heals of the wildly popular amedou et miriam >bara< 12inch, joe claussell returns with his highly anticipated the lower east pipes project, delivering an eclectic, energetic & inspiring dichotomy of party rocking efficacy & esoteric ambient exploration in this latest e.p. 12inch from sacred rhythm music. disorganized corruption combines the experimentally minded disco reverberation & percussive chaos of manhattans glory years with the funky cross-culturally minded aesthetic conveyed flawlessly by claussells productions to create an all-out party rocker
excellent seventh release on the kazoo label, a label that just goes from strength to strength. listening to the four club techno stormers from odessa soundfreaks / peppelino / mat303 & josh love / aka carl & the technicians will leave you in no doubt of this!
so the story goes: a few years ago i played a cool underground party in stockholm with my good friend and crazy record collector mark seven. early on that night mark played me this beautiful and melancholic piece of music. mark happily handed me his spare copy and my record collection for a second felt a little more complete… originally released as a b side track to als slipshod ep on out of the loop the track continued to mesmerize whenever i played it and the fact that so many people loved it and equally as many didnt know the record i though a re release could be a great idea. its inclusion on gerd jansons recent sonar kollektiv compilation and the fact that its been played by legendary dj harvey ( o bearded one as hes known to by the initiated) has obviously helped to spread its fame to. the previously issued part 1 with the original and bogdan irkük remixes has gone down a storm with all the cool movers and shakers... oh yeah baby. now its time for the last chapter with equally mindboggling gatto fritto remix, mark sevens version and my own just plain silly rework. toodle oooo, thomas(oslo, 7th of august 2009)
this is big! john karagiannis and paylipservice present their brandnew great hit kidnapping situation! very cool techno tunes for th big audience. remixed by man of the moment a.paul in his special rolling techno style and a funky remix for the spanish crowd by amigos labelboss dj link!! buy on sight..
another two choice cuts of voorn at his best. taking oldskool samples and sensibilities, and matching them with new school muscle, he presents the incredible chase the mouse and we re all clean.
sons of the dragon debuted last year on a mysterious white vinyl double out of detroit, they awake again to bring us >the journey of qui niu< and cast their firey wrath. the cv313 rework plays off the original version but adds a low end throb so deep it could shake the heavens, a rhythmic shuffle which begs you to move and a hypnotizing symphony of lo fi sonic destruction, its totally menacing. the new sqx project debuts with a killer, taking a different approach to the original, they use the synthesized textures as warm sonic fragments. its as if they were building a sonic puzzle but changing all the pieces around while assembling, leaving us with a rhythmic synth workout of the highest order, for your mind or the floor. a destined to be classic, do not miss

2020vision bring you a superb snapshot of the underground amsterdam scene. following his massive remix of the simon baker track æway out of my headÆ, julien chaptal steps up for his debut 2020 single, with fellow amsterdam based producer lauhaus on remix duties. julienÆs album ætokensÆ on key dutch label remote area is one of the best long players to bubble up from the underground this year. although a parisian at heart, julienÆs been living in amsterdam for almost a decade and has become a must-see name on the live techno circuit in holland. the underground amsterdam electronic underground is one of the most respected scenes in europe. spearheaded by labels like 100% pure, intacto and remote area and producers like shinedoe, 2000 and one, kabale und liebe & daniel sanchez, bart skils & anton pieete, polder, lauhaus & boris werner and julien chaptal himself. lauhaus is another in demand producer from amsterdam and his recent remixes of æflowingÆ by the bluesmen and æpay for meÆ by daniel steinberg have been hits on the underground house and techno scenes.
its been a while since the last rsb release, but then tracks like this dont come along every day! for their first vinyl appearance on a label other than their own, enigmatic german duo ancient methods do the honourable thing and break out the whip, a track that comes across like a 2-step party in the foundry of thor himself. lets lazily label it anvil techno, because as far as we are aware no has yet invented a genre that adequately desribes music such as this. and as we have come to expect, much the same can be said of the evil sickness that is eat like hawks by bjorn svin (with a little help from karsten pflum, jona olesen & copyflex!). it starts like it means to go on, with a gnarled loop and indecipherable distorted vocals, and is gradually tweaked and augmented to the point of destruction. all manner of ill bass, overdriven filters, zaps, clanky drums & feedback join the party before the whole affair is brought to an abrupt end by the strange foreign lady that we have come to know and love over the course of the track. truly music for small, sweaty, strobe-driven cellars.
voorn & oosterwals green imprint is probably best known for its modern classics >blank< and >mpx309<. now they return with the labelÆs sixth release: dosems beach kisses. powerful synths are the order of the day on this euphoric masterpiece. with voorn being such a huge fan of the track, it made sense for him to pick it up for green. so today, we bring beach kisses the joris voorn edit. powerful synths are the order of the day on this euphoric masterpiece. on the flip, marc dosem has provided us with his own new edit under his sendo guise. an atmospheric delight.
the latest offering from truesoul come courtesy of joel mull & cari lekebusch. the a side >passing thru< is a sexy little tech groover, already getting the boys and girl particularly moist on the dancefloors, apealing to both the house and techno posses. the flipside >landing strip< is more fo a chugging groover with gorgeous synth stabs and rising pads. the swedish fraternity are leading the way with awesome electronic music!

mountains is brendon anderegg and koen holtkamp, friends since their middle school days. they began exchanging musical ideas and compositions which led to them founding the apestaartje label in 1999. as their collaborations and individual projects blossomed, they decided to create mountains as a vehicle for live performance. a love of sculpting sound in front of an audience is at the heart of mountains. the groupÆs third album, æchoralÆ (their first self-titled release and second album æsewnÆ were both on apestaartje), is the culmination of their work to date and a balanced mix of the first two efforts. mountains are often compared to artists such as brian eno and fennesz, citing their extended melodies and their unique broad guitar work. mountains seamlessly blend pastoral electronic sounds with both field recordings and a plethora of acoustic instruments.the effect is incredibly sublime and hypnotic as the sounds slowly wrap themselves around each other and alter themselves in the mind of the listener. includes free download voucher.
a bass heavy groove with drops & builds in all the right places including a very catchy vocal hook! dj feedback/support from: axwell, dj chus, luis lopez, hector romero, david penn, carl kennedy, karotte, prok & fitch and bingo players!! john shelvin feat. erire - all in my mind: abel ramos is on fire! he proves again why he is one of the best remixers around: steady house sounds combined with very catchy vocals! dj support/feedback from: axwell, hector romero, thomas gold. erick e, and roog.

after their last production faith christian pass and johannes team up again for sungod to continue their creative work. on the flip side johannes heil is celebrating life with his track true love. what else needs to be said!? supported by heiko mso, gregor tresher: excellent start for johannes heils new labeb!, toni rios, frank lorber. the same way volcanoes have eruptions, dicks have erections and bloody rivers flow: shit happens naturally! even when im on the toilet, i will not use force to squeeze it out because i know it will flow out anyway. its a state of mind, a way to live and the best description of how the creative process and the decisions of this new playground will take place. we will let it flow and get rid of the shit before it happens! we are not willing to take control, but we love to let things grow naturally.we love music, to play and to live a free life of passion, friendship and harmony.you can expect everything besides a concept label with corporate people creating corporate music. because the concept is to have none, but the heart will release the tunes we really love. no matter which genre you might order them to, of course, we are focused on club music, but still there will be music fit in perfectly to a sunny day on which you are sitting on the balcony having a barbecue with friends and drinking a cool beverage. there also might be a tune you can get laid to for the first time in your life. we dont create images, we dont believe in heroes - but we believe in you and ourselves. the most important place for us is the soul - the spot where it all is happening. so let us start with our two favourite tracks for the summertime.
omg! thats right folks, antonio ocasio, the man behind tribal winds, has made a record entitled >joaquin<, in honor of guess who? no, not joaquin phoenix. sounds just like a joe claussell record...
founding member and lead singer of the legendary 80s band imagination leee john... is one of rare artists to have continued with success a solo career whilst at the same time making appearances under the imagination name....leees eloquent sensual style vocals are now considered as household trademarks in the business..... this particular project sensuality comes from his very personal evolution in the jazz scene, where the already accomplished singer attained new heights...sensuality the hit single from his jazz album was heavily aired and charted highly on the billboard, here we find the original version exceptionally well re-visited by lem springsteen (mood ii swing) leon kibuka and sami dee who add an expansive feel necessary to touch new fans. watch this space.....summer hit material in the making

originally released on analytic trail at the end of 2007, c est la vie (and b-side oasi) marked the debut for joseph capriati. since this time capriati has gone on to become one of the hottest names in techno with releases on the scenes labels including drumcode, clr and sci and tec.
to celebrate the success of this favourite son of naples, analytic trail are releasing a staggering set of remixes of two tracks from joseph s debut release on the label from the best names in techno: umek, ramon tapia, xpansul, ortin cam, hauswerks, gaz james and abnormal boyz
first up to rework oasi is great stuff s ramon tapia. without doubt one of the names of 2009, tapia delivers a typically dramatic mix where sparse trial rhythms meet pulsing, offkilter melodies. hot new production duo hauswerks and gaz james keep up the pace with a more funked up version centered around a wicked rolling groove while homegrown neapolitan talent abnormal boyz offer up a stomping rework that twists things out with deep undulating bass.

the mighty umek gets first crack at c est la vie, turning in a typically straight to the point remake, dropping the distinctive percussive hook over a jackhammer groove. ortin cam (drumcode) adopts a more minimal approach with firing snare rolls and a distorted, buzzing cutup loop of the original hook. rounding out the first part of this package is xpansul (ovum, soma) with a dramatic, stringladen take that bounces along on a tough but funky bassline.
