the analog beat-grinder from japan, miclodiet, is back on genesa records with his distinctive, gnarly sound. yasunobu usually releases his material on his own cassette-only label, sludge -tapes, but during the last 2 years, you were able to see him appear on genesa005v alongside joefarr, vsk & the label boss scalameriya or on our digital only division with a complete ep, remixed by martyn hare, alhek & forest people. for his debut vinyl ep, he prepared some stripped down, ultra minimalistic techno stompers infused with recognizable hooks and drones. an absolute must-have for dj’s who are searching for refreshments to add to their crate!

born in canada, fatima camara was raised in a large portuguese family where traditional song and dance were as integral to her family gatherings as food, laughter, and wine. before we sleep, her debut album, is as a collage of the diverse musical influences that have defined each chapter of her storied life: bass guitar lines wrought with the new wave sound that marked her formative adolescence, drums that echo the electronic music she migrated to during her early adulthood in toronto’s dance music scene, and an overriding melancholy that signals the conflicted feelings she has when considering the thin layer of dust that has collected upon her chair at the family dinner table since she made her move to berlin.
,,,apart from music, fatima appreciates happy accidents, blended horizons, and unlit corners.

jun kamoda is a producer, dj and mc from tokyo. new to the label but a friend of the party, jun came to mister sunday in nyc last year and ended up hanging around for a few days afterward, digging for records and sharing bowls of spaghetti with the boys. when he returned to japan, he got to working on the music we now present to you on the clay ep. this is jun blending loopy, psychedelic disco stylings with chugging drum work for three party-ready cuts. they’ve been chopping up our dance floors months, we’re excited to hear them do the same to yours.

lack of depth returns to resopal with his 12“ follow up that continues to push gently outward against the boundaries of house music. although with a somehow decent melancholic note, the five deep and reduced tracks are drifting like clouds on a summer day. spindly arpeggios and quiet chords bounce against restrained drums. lack of depth sets hand drums and wood blocks against a limber house pattern while birdcalls and choirs punctuate the music with jubilant outbursts. coloured vinyl

the latest release from the swiss duo larytta, entitled jura libre, is a chunky, massive, intelligent, colorful (in that full on tropical way) four-song collection of club bangers. to be exact the full set actually consists of two original songs with an in-house larytta remix a piece. the originals lean on pronounced inflections of playful, tricky, afro-tropical rhythms, while the reworks go for a more direct four-to-the-floor approach straight for the jugular. apart from the vibrant, tight production what unifies all of these tracks is a head nod towards that nineties club sound, especially that golden age acid rave material. this is music made not only by great producers, but heads that really know and love clubbing culture and history and know how to tastefully reference the past. the ep closes with bota mao pra encima which features brazilian emcee junior, and thats the point at which you start to question if this ep was truly cut in switzerland.
lth is back on track with brooklyn cuts as the first release in 2016... the label is proud to introduce noha and tomas station to the catalogue... of course you can expect more quality music coming from these guys.
