nice price deal !!! supported by dj paulette/david guetta, francesco farfa, glimmer twins, kolombo, koma & bones, mason, riva starr, the scumfrog and many more... on one of his many trips to germany playing alongside marc romboy, tommie sunshine dropped by the studio of 45 rocks and heard this tune they had been working on. 20 minutes later he had the lyrics and 30 minutes more they were put to tape sending him and marc out the door in less than one hours time. the track first saw the light of day in its original form on tommie s ultra rock remixed in america and has now been transformed into a powerhouse package for every possible taste.

this is a record for the spring that never comes. the heat that would be on. through old ghent acquaintances here s the tenth release from the lddlm bunker. rheinzand is almost our super group. mo (ex glimmer twins but still shining), rheinard, the multi-instrumentalist force and charlotte, the softer voice. we don t do retro but if we had, it would be them, chameleons on a sequin dress, sometimes camp, sometimes deep, sometimes even -disco clash- (the term is now copyrighted) on remix duties, we have the lovely cat lover lokier who turns the first time (track who was a big hit with influential minor players blah blah) into her own smacked out industrial groove. ah, it also has the belgian colors. this is part 1 of 2. get the talc out.

die letzte fsoj vol. 11 ist schon fünf jahre her, die erste kam 1995 raus. ich habe das gefühl die zeit dreht zurück. ein bischen erinnern mich die tracks - vor allem die langsamen stücke, wie so mancher sound - an die ersten >future sounds of jazz< compilations. ich kann sagen, ich hatte eine gewisse leerstelle von 2007 bis ende 2010, sah weder die notwendigkeit, noch hatte ich lust empfunden, eine neue fsoj zu machen. es gab seit 2007 schon den ein oder anderen tollen track, aber nicht genug, um gleich eine compilation daraus zu zimmern. zugegeben war ich, wie viele andere, mehr dem disco-, edit- und deep house-fieber verfallen. bin ich immer noch, aber die musik fusioniert wieder stärker mit den vibes, die ich für fsoj suchte.
es begann in 2010, festigte sich in 2011, ein déjà-vu ritt mich plötzlich, der viel beschworene zeitgeist wehte wieder. haufenweise gute tracks, interessante projekte, die von der Ästhetik, vom sound und feeling den frühen 90ern, oder meinem gutdünken ihre reminiszenzen aufwiesen. immerhin sind seit der vol. 1 schon zwei generationen nachgewachsen, sagt man doch, daß alle sieben jahre eine neue generation entsteht. ich denke, die jüngeren projekte (z.b.: lo tide aus australien, anchorsong und ragout delapin beides projekte aus japan, scrimshire, letherette, laszlo, sepalcure, eden) die hier vertreten sind, spiegeln das eindrücklich wieder.
