the edit service is back and for the first time in album format (2 x lp): -special delivery vol. 4 - a collection of dysfunctional edits by cv- contains 8 tracks spread over two records: long edits, reworks or even remixes made from obscure music by the enigmatic cv (it shouldn’t be too hard for people to figure out who is behind it).

the next instalment in the my rules catalog sees label owner justin van der volgen take on japanese house legend yukihiro fukutomi aka foog s techy club jam flying . originally available as a digital-only release, it s twisted into two exclusive new versions. on the a-side edit, justin travels down the less walked path of splicing and shortens the track, which along with his subtle drum additions tastefully amplify and sharpen the feeling of tension and release. the b-side dub is a heavy bass and drum mix complete with flanged hissing hi-hats, alien claps and cavernous echoes.

times of innocence etire en avant is a track by i:cube from 1996 recorded straight to tape, when he was still doing music in his bedroom at his parents house. this slow jam contains french hypnotizing aerobic lyrics combined with a funk filtered sample, perfect for a tantalising disco sleaze late night set. on the flip side, abel from the infamous red light records amsterdam offers us a surprising re-jam based on the original xxxx track released last year on the oeil cube ep speeding it up from 33 to 45 rpm, and then extending it for maximum effect. from cinematic slow boogie to proper boogie monster.
