after demuja’s first album release „hidden paradise“ earlier this year, he follows up with a brand new ep on his own imprint ‘muja’ named -classic warrior“. the ep contains 6 classic house tracks, featuring jazzy rhodes and drifting basslines. some of the grooves will remind you of the ‘good old times’ and lean towards the 90s house sound with influences from guys like kerri chandler and ron trent, but still demuja maintains his own originality to the final finish tracks.

across the ‘hidden paradise’ lp demuja showcases his powerful and emotive production style with dusty, jazz-tinged cuts like ‘still do’, ‘hang on’, ‘you smile feat. ainy’, ‘hear that bassplayer’ and ‘my jazzy wung’ employing the producer’s signature style via soft rhodes, hooky horn samples, organic bass grooves and soaring vocal samples. ‘still do’ and ‘keep doing’ also explore a more dropped- tempo disco aesthetic on the project with funk-infused bass, infectious guitar licks and shuffled, loose drums.

demuja embarks on the thirteenth expedition into the exotic lands of palm trees and blue skies with the soulful and feel good ‘soul brother’ ep. expedition thirteen features four jams packed of playful chord patterns, dark basslines and catchy vocals.
