d. diggler alias andreas mügge gehört zur guten alten frankfurter schule. er hat übrigens das erste release auf raum...musik veröffentlicht und unzählige folgten. releases auf cocoon recordings, resopal und force inc. folgten.
bei negotiator und behind the curtain entwickeln sich der funk der tracks durch die dub ähnlichen einflüsse und entführt einen in eine housewelt, in der man die dichte in fast minimalen strukturen entdeckt, die aber doch nichts mit minimal zu tun haben. sehr eigenwillig und auf unscheinbare weise spannend.

after breaking our new years resolutions at a tiki bar deep in the woods, numbolics very 1st release in 2012 is a production by our lovely french friend kane roth. with an elegant drift kane and the remixers d.diggler and dualism made four outstanding kicking minimal tracks while creating her typically sort of breeziness. she delicately placed all the charming arrangements very well in order to sound super authentically rooted. dance baby, dance!

rhein-main based tag team diggler & franksen go back some way in the history of frankfurts electronic scene. around 2000 diggler honed his reputation as a master of dubby techno for a whole decade. his early tracks like >boogiemonster< are blueprints of cool. period. today he is still rollin out crisp and deep techhouse beats that combine musical finesse, compositional tension and club appeal. having released about six albums and countless tracks and remixes for labels from raum…musik to cocoon and from resopal to level non zero, diggler is still on the hunt for the proper dose of beat hypnosis.
for their >morning blue ep< diggler teams up with frankfurts radio legend franksen who hosts germanys eldest dj show, todays you fm clubnight. franksen saw a string of releases over the last two years, collaborating for labels such as suara, dieb.audio, kommmitmusik, plastic city and more.

d. diggler aka andreas mügge is back ! this time not on planet vision but on pascals new label: level non zero. blessed with a father who is a jazz musician, andreas started to play the drums at the tender age of twelve, and joined his father in his jazz combo. soon he realized that his future is not to play in a band but to make his musical ideas become reality through the necessary midi equipment. his first release for raum...musik boogiemonster hit several dj charts, club charts and was played in heavy rotation on hr 3 xxl. so did the following releases. d.diggler s first album was released in april 2000 on cd and vinyl, its sound range varying from deep to technoid-slamming. since then he can look back on 45 releases and 20 remixes and is a dj + liveact who playes in the first league. on level non zero he shows us with three new traxs his variety: from „hypno-techno“ (drehmoment), over deep tech-house (deepdown), to dub-house (control). we remember the old raum...musik times...

>sonntag< is a bright funky piece inspired by easy berlin sundays. the dirk diggler remix is a more techy pusher, constructing a massive groove we love him for. track 3 is the hit of this ep and also a hit in the berlin underground scence. tight german vocals play with late night party appeal flirting with a drunken bassline in the mood for love !!

von der reeperbahn ins künstlerviertel - von großer freiheit zur münchner freiheit, von hamburg nach münchen -- genauer gesagt nach schwabing, dem ortsteil münchens, der in den 60er- und 70er-jahren aufgrund der kulturellen vielfalt abseits des sonst eher konservativen münchens (natürlich -- man ist ja in bayern) bei den hipstern schwer angesagt war und noch heute vom damaligen ruhm zehrt. den dazu passenden soundtrack schwabing affairs liefert einmal mehr das kölner diggler label (ob der dritte teil der serie porz affairs heißen wird?), welches erneut die archive nach soundtracks aus der halbwelt durchwühlt hat, um den zumindest musikalischen flair schwabings wiederzubeleben.

big with stephan bodzin, hernan cattaneo, gregor tresher, dubfire, monika kruse, mihalis safras, butch, paco osuna, hermanez, gel abril, joris voorn. the labels first three releases have already featured such names as martinez, piemont, daniel dreier and d.diggler, backed by mixes and original productions from some jetts very own team of artists. todays release comes from the label head himself, fred siera who turns in two original cuts, bell x1 and yeager. bell x1 is a deep, driving number. moody and atmospheric with an extra long break it touches on in-flight safety details and even a touch of nancy sinatra. seriously. on the remix and fresh from the success of his tiny little widgets album is martin eyerer. staying true to the original, martin ups the ante by adding more drive and muscle. on the flip the original of yeager is another driving number. deep and percussive with a gorgeous jazzy piano break, it receives a rework from jett001 artist daniel dreier. the watergate resident injects a healthy dose of groove and ups the percussion. added strings, vocal samples as well as a splash of woodwind take the original on a new trip

summer has come early. the fog is literally lifting and willing the summer to come early with this excellent ep for metroline. lead track diggler’s job is a breezy house number with pimping keys and a beautiful bass bounce. there’s plenty of movement in the percussion and a light touch that just begs for summer to come. shout romance is a shade tougher with its up-front kicks and acid-tinged bassline. it has slow burn intensity that is nicely counterbalanced by smooth reverb-soaked vintage synths.the jackspot remix of shout romance really brings out the funk in those synths, underpinning that with down-the line percussion and skittering hats that give the track a real drive. rounding things up nicely is in the right mood. the track’s bassline is sticky, sweet treacle over which congas and vocal cuts are expertly sprinkled to create a tasty treat. it never gets sickly though… horns are deployed sparingly, and the track has the same cool as a cucumber minimalism that makes this ep pure pleasure on the eardrums
