label stalwart jubei returns to the label alongside long term friend tyrone for ‘the arcane ep. taking its name from the club night where they first met, ‘the arcane ep is partly a follow up to 2015s ‘out of sight with the duo now delivering a full 4 track collaborative release which has garnered support from goldie to chase & status and shy fx to break, with loads more in between. jubei & tyrones concept for an ep was triggered by the creation of ‘stabs, which since its inception has undoubtedly become one of the most asked about metalheadz tracks of recent times and was an obvious choice to headline an ep full of energy and accomplishment.

external assessment vs. self-conception by robag wruhme: people always think, im that serene and quiet guy, but actually i’m quite a noisemaker. could be that the majority of the material he put out in recent years, most notably the thora vukk album, led to the overall apprehension of robag being the virtuoso of everything subtle, enigmatic and tenderly melodic. well, thats far from being a misconception, but still just one side of the coin. the other side is embossed with his most current productions, consolidated to a double ep, captioned with the enchanting name wuzzelbud ff. wait a second wuzzelbud devoted fans will instantly prick up their ears. we’ve heard that before. back in 2004 robag wruhme released his first longplayer named wuzzelbud kk. as theres no such scenario robag might be running out of stream-of-consciousness turned nonsense titles for his music, this must be a vocabulary intersection linking the early days of his career with its status quo. and it is. wruhme presents wuzzelbud ff as the stylistic follow-up to his debut album, showcasing a sound he commits has been neglected for too long. wruhme cuts to the chase: i wanted to put out some straightforward music for the dancefloor, something for the primetime. well, for the primetime of my sets, at least.

london-based dj & producer dimension returns to the limelight this year with his highly-anticipated new single, ‘generator’. premiered via bbc r1 on friday by danny howard, theatmospheric and energetic cut follows on from one of 2016’s biggest underground d&b anthems, ‘uk’, in what has been dubbed his “strongest year to date” by annie mac. the rise of dimension has been nothing short of remarkable. with multiple best-selling and seminal anthems including ‘whip slap’, plus numerous remixes under his belt for the likes of chase & status, duke dumont, nero, emile sande and deadmau5, 2016 became a real turning point for the producer as it saw two of his singles, ‘automatik’ and ‘uk,’ crowned ‘hottest record in the world’ with annie mac on bbc radio 1. a thrilling and enigmatic producer who likes to let his music do the talking, dimension’s commitment to the sounds of the underground whilst still receiving mainstream success provides further impetus to deem him one of the most exciting artists of 2017. this year will see him undertake his biggest tour to date in australia and new zealand, return to amnesia for another season as a resident dj at together and hit the summer circuit once again at festivals including sw4, tomorrowland, snowbombing, sziget and creamfields.

30 year old london born ali pearce, aka stealth is a dj/producer that has been on the scene for many years. his diverse style and maturity of sound has seen him successful in many areas of the drum and bass spectrum, achieving releases on some of the industries most respected labels including – v recordings, renegade hardware, subtitles, frequency, intasound and many more… after honing his skills as a teenager on the illegal rave scene in the late 90s, his early days as a dj saw him picked up to be a resident warm up artist for the legendary promotion movement, going on to play at some of londons top nightclubs over the years, as well as abroad, and hosting weekly shows on origin fm. the last few years have been focussed more and more towards his productions, allowing him to cultivate his skills as an artist, and securing dj support of his work from the likes of – andy c, chase and status, subfocus, marky, bailey, bryan g, calyx, teebee, dbridge, break, ulterior motive, zero tolerance and xtrah to name a few! the future definitely looks bright for this budding producer, as 2013 kicks off with an ep due out on subtitles early in the year, as well as material lined up for release on andy cs new imprint program, so keep your ears peeled!
