chris duckenfield has done more than a few laps around the acid house track producing and djing since the late 80s, and achieving success through numerous music projects, rac on warp, as swag with richard brown through the 90s and more recently with his popular peoples front & duckbeats aliases. >i really do believe< joyously straddles the disco & house worlds, a rollicking metalic riff, soaring etta james vocal samples, a healthy dose of acid and a serious low end - constructed for sweaty basements & causing a major stir with a few choice drops at the recent electric elephant festival in croatia. new and super talented producer chicagodamn provides a superb remix on the flip, taking the key elements of the original to a strobe-lit warehouse destination in fine style!
frenchman julian jeweils second ep on richie hawtins plus 8 label is sure to confirm jeweils status as one of technos most reliable talents. the four track ep encompasses everything jeweil has honed in his ten year plus career – tough sounds, high energy and a fusion of electro and minimal that hypnotises as much as moves you. thus far it has come on labels like cocoon and skryptöm records, whilst at the same time jeweil (real name julien bérard) has been busy playing underground parties all across his homeland.

for our 33rd release we welcome back darius syrossian whos last area remote >stay up dancing, get in monday< scorched the international club systems back in march.
seeking for peace was triggered after darius got home from a great gig and while chilling at home saw the news on tv. horrific footage of the onslaught in the middle east and the suffering of the innocent families caught up in the bombing made him realise that when he had been living it up, others were living in fear.
bass not bombs is the inspiration for the other 3 remixes. the proceeds from his two tracks will be given to the international red crescent.
take care, cause this is gonna be about 3000 degrees hot - friends and dj-mates of the agency and label sat down at the controllers to remix. this time we have got andre kronert ( ostwind/ nightdrive music), schäufler & zovsky solo and in cooperation with mollono.bass ( acker records) giving their personal congrats to the funkwerkstatt jubilee! from deep and sweat to raw and dirty!!

neurotraxx deluxe, the label run by deep house buzz name aki bergen, releases a hot new track from uk super dj filthy rich. as a talented producer/dj filthy richs innovative sound has made him undeniably one of the countrys finest djs today. a promising figure looming out from the crowd, rich is the complete package. effortlessly leaving his contemporaries behind, he leaps and bounds into a league of his own laughing to himself as he does it. this is because rich knows the secret to getting this far – is playing music that he loves, for people to dance to. this new single is more on the deeper side of electronic music but still built to do damage on the dance floor. with mixes from dzeta & basile (who have had tracks & remixes on 1trax, lower east and loco records) and paolo mojo (noir music, cr2, greatstuff, oosh) this is a seriously hard hitting package. with support coming from all the usual a-list and international djs (full list of dj support being released soon) this, as we have come to expect from neurotraxx and filthy rich alike, is going to be an essential record for many djs.
triangles angle is produced by hugo & sammy and it is inspired by the magical dimension of their city, turin. atmospheric and groovy, this release is thought to disseminate the philosophy that lies behind goodvibe records, explore electronic music and make people dance

the premier minister of russian electronic underground is back, with next and most wanted vinyl for mako - opposition ep.
>opposition< is powerful back to back production featured by well known mako artist marseille, who bring more techno sounds in the track. >underground bass< absolutely dark and massive tune, which allow to think about things more wide. the sunny pressure of >trust me< makes every party more atractive. and >u r crazy< the only thing you will think about ... mako is very proud to introduce 4 peaktime weapons that are ready to shoot!
after some silence on credo due to the fact that alex was pretty busy with productions and numerous remixes for other labels, he kills it totally now with this outstanding twotracker. >theory of noise< delivers two unique technotracks and especially >noise b< shakes it down in sets all over with its remarkable groovepattern und heavy as well as warm bass structure. this is the adequate follow up on the black series of the label after the outstanding and regurarly repressed >dark summer nights< that came out two years go. alex in top-shape, grab it!
shortly after the idea of acting as a record label under the guidance of oliver schories, the first release is already upcoming. different artists from northern germany convinced with their qualities and they found their way on the >nordlichter ep<. mauro basso brings with his >calm water< a potential summer-hit, which should not be missing on any open air event in our opinion. friends of more bassy amusement should listen to the hamburg/bremen based duo apnØ with their >trøt<, a track which encourages even the coolest northern lights to get into action. on the flipside >meet me on the streets< brings some deeper sound onto your turntable, accompained by a video on youtube, the intention of bremen-based duo datastix becomes definitely clear. last but not least julie* from papenburg, who is spinning only vinyl for years, shows us with her >cheerful expression< again, how to make your legs perk up. our advice is: dont disappoint your mum and make your exercises enjoyable: do not forget your turnbeutel in your next set.
needwant is proud to present a truly unique package of >interpretations< featuring the chicago legend robert owens brand new >one body< vocal as individually sound tracked by four of house musics most exciting producers and needwant friends and family, kaine, mario basanov, nicholas and no regular play
ackerdub 10 laesst sich sehen, denn alle vier tracks werden wieder ordentlich aufs tanzbein gehen. von tief emotional bis groovigem house dreht diese scheibe wieder ordentlich auf!
support by richie hawtin, m.a.n.d.y., andreas henneberg, kombinat100 and many more. featuring deep atmospheres and altogether slightly more electronic rhythms, the second part of the catchpenny & cosmos series rounds this double release off by an even greater variety of sound. just like its name implies, the dark tower hotel is a wondrous and mysterious place. upon intricate double bass chords and trippy synthesizer riffs, female singing from times long gone mixes elegantly into the hypnotic arrangement like a melodic leitmotif. in his remix, mollono.bass lives up to the last four letters of his name and delivers a rolling groove. the jaeger gains experience with acid, at least during the second part of this title which distinguishes itself by a minimal character and enigmatic wind instrument sounds. last but not least there is morgiana , a laid-back song that does not aim the dance floor. its catchy gypsy vibe, created by lots of classical instruments, reflects the remarkable compositional talent of be svendsen in a very entertaining way.
trio techno cover, it was just a question of time to reach the point when wayne considers himself to be the one to create a musical statement in order to show what he thinks about all the current status of some parts of the electronic dancemusic circus. he still suffers from too much so called >minimal< in his eyes and he wants back the energy he is missing on many occasions… >you know, techno without bass is like f…… without screwing him in…< some might say he s too late with this song, but thats simply wayne! in his universe the meaning of time is different to what we all would expect. anyway, he finally checked out garage band on the mac he recently >lended< from somebody he does not even know, and here we go with his first very own song. lyrics in german only and heavily inspired by one of the biggest hits from the 80ies from the german cult-formation >trio<, but to make a long story short: its waynes message that the so called minimal sound is definitely over now: >always klick and always klack, i can not tell how much it sucks...<
argentinean disco delinquent toomy disco comes correct with his first ep for under the shade. static friction is a churning, plodding marauder, perfect for warming up the dancefloor. mario basanov picks up the pace flipping the track with plucky stabs and a tight beat whilst alphabet city draws out the track into a loopy hypnotic belter. finishing up with disco lights which wouldnt sound out of of place in giorgio moroder 80s film soundtrack
after the untimely passing of ben bracket brydon in april 2009, his friends got together to pay tribute to him in the most fitting way possible, by creating a not-for-profit label that showcases some of the incredible music that he made. and what music it is, fierce, interesting and above all fun with an instantly recognizable production style. check it...
the ep opens with >hypnotic bass<, a track with a very groovy gnaoua rythm. the sound of the guembri gives the production a very warm sensation. next up is >deep medina<, the title track. a real journey, the vocals are strong while sidi mohammeds lute elicits shivers. the melody manages to sound traditional while modern at the same time. >for hou!!!<, the closing track, philip bader perfectly works the acoustic samples, resulting in a characteristically berlin minimal sound. the kick and the bass are very heavy.
parallel is the bold debut album from rising star dosem. the catalan producer behind such hits as >silent drop< and the sexy smash >beach kisses< unveils his futuristic vision on a double album comprised of >dosem< and >sendo<, that take listeners from gironas sultry shores to the throbbing heart of the worlds best dancefloors
supported by richie hawtin, monika kruse, mihalis safras, kombinat100 and many more ....crunchy beats and bouncy basses – no doubt, this is electronic dance music. but the extensive way in which classical instruments are deployed on acker number 23 cant be described as a simple sampling play any more. rather a fiery mixture of rhythmic electronic thrust and the thrilling atmosphere of handmade music is created. >solo para mi< is based on a functional yet driving groove on which a wind player arrangement unfolds, progressively escalating to ever new atmospheric peaks. mollono.bass takes up the summery-warm tone colours of the original in his remix but keeps it a little more dreamy and subliminal. >bulgarian chicks< is stronger orientated towards the electronic elements but still also here there are instrumental and vocal entries which lend to this title a very unconventional gipsy style. finally another remix on >solo para mi< by eule:nhaupt and molle:nhauer puts emphasis on the song-orientated components of the original, taking its hybrid character even further. supported by gorge, douglas greed, luciano, mihalis safras, the glitz, kombinat100 and many more
limited to 500 copies, this 180-gram triple-vinyl boxed set will include a download card of turbo century (70 of turbos best tracks) + the digital version of the turbo100 remix package
superb third release on universal human underground featuring four latvian producers delivering a great ep with some cool ur / kraftwerk references but with an original sound also.
