with a 3rd release on that s a steal, this mysterious label just keep on delivering... crossover sounds from all over the world united by an open-minded approach to the dancefloor. this time all of the tracks originate in india, opening with a disco bomb of hey hey and continuing with the heart crushing slow jam of commando. bhangraman on b1 combines mid-east synths, proto-house 707 rhythm with a mid east melody, uplifting chants to later develop into chicago style piano solo as a cherry on its pie. the closing number offers you early 90 s breakbeat with freaky scratches to go real wild!
phil gerus is a natural musical talent who oozes sound from every pore. fusing together cassette pop, disco, soul, r&b and funk, his sounds are effortless but hugely emotive and have come out on labels like sonar kolkektiv, manmakemusic (george fitzgerald’s label), futureboogie and true romance. growing up in moscow, phil studied classical piano and was heavily influenced by his parents’ music tastes, including jazz records of oscar peterson, bill evans, and keith jarrett, it is these classy vibes that permeate his own creations. phil has played around the world at leading clubs like japan’s dommune, studio 80 (amsterdam), mojo club (hamburg) and various hotspots in europe and russia. phil is also a regular guest on radio shows around the planet and is considered as an artist on the rise.

after releasing their yantar lp digitally last year, hell yeah now serve up a much anticipated vinyl version of richard somerville and craig wilson s perfectly horizontal sounds. it features two of the superb originals with remixes from the beat broker and los gatos escobar. somerville & wilson have appeared on ism records, dwdk (danny was a drag king), paper records and music for dreams and count the likes of tensnake and gerd janson as fans of their laidback and charming grooves, and this ep is a real slab of heat that will surely sizzle souls across the world this summer.
after two incredible eps, wayne snow the nigerian-born, berlin-based vocalist and songwriter now presents his debut album on tartelet records. freedom tv is the natural sequel to the max graef produced tasters red runner (2014) and rosie (2015) a project marinated in afro-caribbean, soulful grooves and topped by waynes effortless falsetto acrobatics. as the title suggests, freedom tv is an album with themes of liberty, struggle and creative identity pumping through its veins. within ten tracks, snow fluently meanders between musical styles: from low-tempo soothers like album opener cooler and fall to the syncopated bruk of the rhythm and cosmic funk escapades found on nothing wrong. production comes from three varied and solid sources. the tag-team between snow and fellow berliner, max graef
the second outing from lisbon based percebes mú,,sica comes from ka§par, a respected portuguese author who consistently releases on many revered deeper dance music imprints. the “epicurismo” ep is a fresh and well humored record, conceived as an homage to the greek philosopher epicurus, who widely professed a personal mantra for happiness.
the next black label release comes just in time for the hot season. the a-side truly deserves a spot on various upcoming open airs and summer parties. two catchy jazzy house dancefloor fillers that keep you moving! while the b side takes a more mellow approach, its tracks are perfect for a smooth run in a bar or an after party. as always limited to 300!
clandestino head joe morris is next up on wonder stories, imparting the kind of sun-kissed discoid meditation the label and its listeners lap up. morris is sounding confident and cool on cloud nine, using vintage drum machine patterns and fuzzy synth lines to impart a sweet-natured groove that reaches skywards. contrasting the blissed out original, max essa brings a little more bite to the table with his shimmering electro-disco version, while coyote preaches his balearic vision on the b1 remix. label boss aimes keeps things smooth and steady with a deep house version of cloud nine for all dancefloor dreamers to get lost in.
the first release by the amsterdam based duo caim on there self-titled label. the duo s distillation of the everyday voices captivated on this mindset focused four-track ep. each track stands as an analysis of the deep, groovy and detail driven biota. soothing atmospheres and pulsating synths offer us a first glimpse into caim s state of mind.
is it balearic? welcome the mellow charms of chris coco and camillo miranda to lay down an unusual paean to a prehistoric love with the truly breezy drifter dinosaur baby. while the tale might be a quirky one, the music is the real deal, all tumbling percussion locked into a slow, head-nodding groove, and this comes through even stronger on the 12inch dub. on the flip, rune lindbaek delivers a remix that fleshes the original out with laconic disco flourihes, and then luke solomons version injects a little housey energy into the make up with his usual flair for off-kilter party fuel.

dan bay is a frankfurt am main situated composer, dj, live-performer and musician. most of the sounds he is working with, are based on classical synthesizers combined with field recorded samples. his latest vinyl-release is published at the label sucio. since 2017 dan bay is resident at the radio x fade dj night and can frequently be heard at clubs playing dj-livesets or analog synthesizer livesets with his electronic deep house band the mpc orchestra. his vocal-electropop project dan bay & maya will be playing several international concerts in clubs and festivals in 2018.
loco dice has unveiled his darkly eclectic album ‘love letters, a 15-track embodiment of his diverse production range. featuring the latest single ‘were alive, the most highly anticipated record of his recent sets. dices third studio album after ‘7 dunham place and ‘underground sound suicide sees him reflecting on his musical influences and connections to dusseldorf and beyond. the album is packed with the producers typically forceful tones, which blur the lines between house and techno. utillising the bristling sounds and smooth drum beats, dices love letters album serves as an aural embodiment of the tones which make his sound so unique. throughout ‘love letters, dice uses his own vocals more frequently than on previous albums, which makes the production both trippier and more personal, representing past and present.
