for years nathan church has been cutting up floors in his native bilbao. recently the basque man s attention has turned from the dj booth to the studio. under his wldv (we love dolce vita) this iberian electronic inspiration has cast long shadows and brightened rooms with his blend of horror score intensity and disco exuberance. wldv arrives at the bordello with a four tracker of serious intent. sepulchral and sinister synthlines characterise a dying feast, nowhere more than in the haunting samples and clean drums of -a bucket of blood-. cold chords gleam with icy menace while crisp claps punctuate the entrancing funk of -danza macabra-. ecclesia toys with set parameters, exploring what lurks in the twilight between terror and titillation. this flirtation with the divine and the profane is plain to hear in the uneasy elegance and uplifting elation of -far, far away-, a work of steady kicks, unsettling extracts and soaring strings. this -feast- ends on a delectable note. keys dance and spiral in the intoxicating -laying down on cosmic dust-, an enthralling end to and enthralling ep.

born and raised in venezuela, the charismatic rafael garnica is releasing his second artist album titled fool again on galaktika records from barcelona. his debut cae nieve en caracas was released in 2009 on galaktika and after numer- ous singles and remixes for labels like moodmusic, trenton and chillin mint.

bokhari records is a vinyl only label. bokhari has been inspired by mo wax of old, and firecracker of present where care was/is also taken on packaging and design. each release will feature a different illustrator / artist for the design. musically we will aim to stick loosely within the realms of house and techno, but often with our own slant on it, and as the first release shows, in this case will include some afro percussion and a touch of acid. bokhari 001 only 300 copies will be pressed. artwork for release 001 is by the excellent illustrator andy potts (former head of design at abbey road studios), and every single vinyl will be signed and numbered. remix comes from the ever consistent mark e, who has taken the shrunken head bassline and made a 10 minute druggy, chuggy, loopy, creepy monster (and anything else you want with a ‘y’ at the end!)

please welcome: its the arps! oslos magic music maker todd terje has already gained a wunderkind like reputation for his gentle yet potent productions (we wont mention the e-word here) on labels like full pupp, permanent vacation or running back on top of being one of the best remixers money can buy (shit robot, bryan ferry, dølle jølle et cetera et cetera). what is there left for him to do? establish a label of his own! >its the arps< is the starting signal for olsen. and what a splendid one it is. created from scratch and solely on the mythical synthesizer arp 2600 (check www.letsnerd.com for help), it features four tracks (reads instant classics) that couldn’t be a better follow-up to his 2011 super hit ep >ragysh<.

heres the first of the 3 vinyl samplers taken from the >out of town remixes< cd and it coming in a lovely heavyweight card picture sleeve 10 inch! limited to 300, this first one has japans favourite max essas vocal mix which takes us straight into the summer time feeling with an uplifting mix of >north shore<. on the b side, loft party co-host, cosmo takes >dix vertes< to the dub end and turns out a mix perfect for a cocktail on the beach.

justice, the french duo formed by gaspard auge and xavier de rosnay, is the band of a whole generation. when the two friends were still bright students in graphic design, in 2003 they made justice a place to experiment a hybrid genre between music and image, which blends pop and electronic borders, and showcases the talents of 2 fascinating passionate pop culture craftsmen, bored with hierarchy. they met pedro winter who had just founded his label ed banger records, he immediately signs them after listening to >we are your friends< which, with its joyful and vitamin-enriched electro beats combined with exhilarating voices, became the hymn of a whole generation and one of the most important tracks of the year 2000, celebrating a reconciliation of pop music and the dancefloor.

2nd release of leo zero on lets get lost. his remix of the florence and the machine was highly acclaimed. new leo zero remix for super talented teenaged rock band >bombay bicycle club< is simply brilliant stuff.this is good way of pop stuff. when i listened this remix,i thought its like a disco version of style council. on b side, rune lindbaek edit is bit alternative for djs. dont miss this great remix tracks.
