Downset., originally called Social Justice, is an influential rap metal band from Los Angeles, California. They gained popularity in Europe in 1994 after touring with Biohazard and Dog Eat Dog, followed by a tour with Pantera and The Almighty. Their self-titled album was released the same year. In 1995, they headlined a tour with Sullen and appeared at major rock festivals. Downset. is considered an influential band in nu metal and rap metal, and has toured with Linkin Park, Pantera, Slayer, Metallica, and more.
