Scottish post-punk trio's 11-track best-of collection of 1980s alternative radio and dance rock club hits: Formed in Scotland in 1979, APB were a post-punk trio blending edgy guitars with funk and new wave sounds. The band had many early '80s alternative radio and rock dance club hits including "Shoot You Down", "Rainy Day" and "Palace Filled with Love". Those tracks along with seven others were originally released on the collection Something To Believe In in 1985. This new revised LP adds the group's first single "Chain Reaction" to the set making this its vinyl re-release. The band has recently toured and will be promoting the set with a full publicity campaign. In Adam Horowitz "Beastie Boy Book" he described the APB song "I'd Like To Shoot You Down" as 'a punk dance-floor classic. I love it' - Single "Chain Reaction" was not available on the original release, included here. - Vinyl has been out of print for over 30 years - Opened for and toured with the Clash AND James Brown - Neil Innes (Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band & The Rutles) plays keyboard on the album - band has recently toured, is touring and will be promoting the set with a full publicity campaign.
