'What Are We Going To Do?' kicks off proceedings, with a rhythm that owes a bit to the skippy US garage energy pf Todd Edwards or Roy Davis Jr, stripped back but with a slinky bassline and mysterious mutterings voices adding additional atmosphere. 'Free' operates under similarly slanted syncopation template but counters it with echoing dub effects.
