Mit „R“ erscheint nun das erste Solo-Projekt der Künstlerin.
Erstmals in Erscheinung trat Rosé mit Veröffentlichung des Titels „Without You“ in Kooperation mit dem
südkoreanischen Sänger G-Dragon. Die Single erreichte in Südkorea die Top10 der Singlecharts. Ihr Debüt
als Mitglied der Gruppe Blackpink feierte Rosé mit Veröffentlichung der EP „SQUAREONE“ 2016.
Auf „R“, welches bereits digital veröffentlicht wurde, sind die zwei Tracks „On The Ground“ und „Gone“
enthalten. Erstere erreichte die Top 50 der deutschen Single Charts und Platz 5 der deutschen iTunes
Charts.
